"The place reeked of hard boiled eggs. I ordered a smoothie and the water brains behind the counter made my smoothie, put it down on the counter, but didn’t say anything. So it sat there and melted into strawberry juice. It was basicaly six bucks for strawberry juice!!!!! And the bathroom had no toilet paper so i had to use my hand!"

"This placed used to be great years ago. Today I almost threw up watching them make my $7 latte. The lady making it started steaming the milk, then left it there and started mopping the floor. I thought to myself, that’s interesting, certainly she will wash her hands afterwards, even Starbucks employees wash their hands after touching cleaning products. But it got even worse. She proceeded to grab the dirty rubber floor mats they all stand on. She picked them and rolled them up, presumably for more cleaning and mopping. Then guess what she did next? No hand washing! And she grabbed the steaming milk, took my cup, picked up the espresso cup and poured it into my cup, stirred it with her hands (and her fingers even touched the inside of my cup. She continued making my drink then handed it to me without shame or any consideration that her hands were filthy with the floor, the mop, and other cleaning supplies. I took a napkin and wrapped the latte cup so as not to get my own hands dirty, and threw the whole thing in the trash. I’m never coming back. And I’m so glad I got to observe this so I can now make an informed decision about never coming here again."

"I moved just this last week to McLean and this coffee shop is walking distance from my house. My daughter and I arrived at 3:45 to get 2 cappuccinos. The barista had just finished serving 3 other customers and when she came back to the register she said: sorry we close at 4:00. It was still 15 min away so I told her we only wanted to order 2 cappuccinos and we would sit outside. She rudely replied that she planned to close the outdoor area before 4 so she couldn’t help us. I’ve never been refused service at a coffee shop 15 min before closing while at least 6 other patrons were still in the business drinking coffee. The barista was incredibly rude and it was a terrible first impression. I will walk a little further and take my $ to a business with more class and customer service. Don’t waste your time when there are so many other options in the area."
