H&R Block

"If I could give it no stars, I would. It is a rip off, they charge you an insane amount to plug numbers into a computer. They do not explain the charge and make it seem like you are paying the total for your taxes and the service at the end of the appointment. However, the state takes out whatever you owe them and then they surprise charge you $300 dollars for average service."

"The person doing my taxes was very knowledgeable and efficient however the price for getting my taxes done is a little high when I could just do them on Turbo tax. I will say though it is nice having the peace of mind going to H&R."

"Mark is a great guy. He explains everything and how it all works. If something changes he let's us know. Feel very comfortable and we trust him. We have been going to h&r block for years we have had good experiences and not so good but with mark and the staff at the edinbroro office it's always been a pleasure."

"Mark Murphy is probably the worst H&R block employee I have ever delt with. He is unable to return phone calls, assist with tax audits, return emails, come to scheduled appointments, he does not work with your schedule, and is not very friendly. My Fiance's 2016 tax return was audited in February of 2018, and Mark has been extremely unhelpful during this process. It has been 10 months and we have gotten absolutely NOWHERE with Mark. He has made excuse after excuse as to why he couldn't respond to an email or a phone call over the course of 3 months, and that is completely unacceptable. I've called this office many times this year, and all the other employees seem really nice! I would never recommend Mark unless you want your taxes to be a giant headache."
