"I went to a few sessions at Courageous Journey. The therapist I saw was very good (she left there recently) but the administrators are incompetent. I had given them EAP provider info and one of their administrators then asked for their phone number so that she could get more info. I sent her the phone number and heard nothing back until I got a notification of my first scheduled appointment. I went to a few appointments over the past few weeks and had my last appointment last week because my therapist left. Yesterday, I received a very abrupt email saying that my EAP provider had not been accepted, so they would be billing my insurance. I emailed them to ask why they are just informing me of this after I had provided them with the EAP phone number and they had scheduled me for appointments. I received a very unprofessional email from the administrator, pretty much stating that it was completely my responsibility to make sure the EAP provider had accepted responsibility for the payments. Apparently, Magellan (the EAP provider) does not consider them a credentialed provider (which I find interesting). I find the lack of communication on their part unacceptable, and the informing me of the payment situation after the fact is one of the most unprofessional things I have ever encountered. I would stay away from Courageous Journey. They don't care about their clientele one bit."

"Rene is AH-MAZING! Sept 20th 2021 will be a year that my dad passed, so in 2 days and I must say, I'm a completely different person from when I started. It still hurts and always will, but I'm able to do things now, and enjoy my twin grandsons that will he 8 months old Oct 1st! Rene gave me my life back, and then the twins are letting me enjoy being a Mimi and act like myself again! I shower, put makeup on, get dressed and go out in public and feel comfortable...I'm not sheltering myself and stating in my bedroom, or hibernation. I can socialize again! I've actually told a few people about this place and referred them here from my experience! Thank you so much fir helping me!"
