"Over a month since my original review of 2 stars, have now changed to 1 star, as no attempt made by this business to apologize for the rude & dishonest behavior I experienced!! The quality of the arrangement for the price I requested was very good, however that's where the good customer service ends. I phoned in my order & gave the lady whom took my order my payment info. Several hours later the lady from Goldie's calls me & states in a rather rude tone that my credit card was "no good". I replied that maybe a mistake was made when the info was entered & I'd gladly give her the info again. She snapped back in a rude tone that they were "closed" & couldn't take my info. Then why bother calling me if your not prepared to work through the problem? I promised her I'd call her tomorrow & we'd get this straightened out & asked for the business hours. Her reply was along the line that I was attempting to "steal" from them & that I was dishonest. I explained that if I was trying to take advantage of them & not pay I would have blocked their phone # & not taken the call! The next morning while I'm at work she calls me & demands that I talk with her about the payment issue right then. I explained I was at work & wasn't supposed to be on the phone & that I would call her as agreed on the previous call last evening. She once again made some rude comments that I was trying to take something without paying for it. She wouldn't listen to reason & kept interrupting me, so I just hung up on her. 2 hours later while on a break from work I called Goldie's & that same rude lady answered the phone & began making accusations. I explained that I'd contacted my credit card service dept & that no attempted transaction from Goldie's had come into the system over the past 2 days. She basically called me a liar. I ended the call & called my credit card service dept again & asked the representative to connect a 3 way conference call with me, the credit card rep & Goldie's to explain that the payment problem was on the Florist's end, that the payment request wasn't even getting to the credit card company. The customer service rep politely agreed to help me & the call was placed. Goldie's staff hung up on us 3 times in a row when we attempted to contact them & help resolve the problem. Once we were finally able to get them to stay on the phone & not hang up on us the same rude lady basically wouldn't listen to reason. We asked her to use a different phone line to connect to the credit card company for payment. She refused! After nearly 20 minutes on the phone & getting no where we got the owner on the phone. He wasn't much better, it took him 10 minutes to realize what we were trying to tell him....After approx 40 minutes on the phone the owner admits that his FAX & Credit Card phone lines hadn't worked correctly for a few days & that he would contact them for repairs on the line & then run my payment info again. A few hours later I get my usual text notification that a payment request was made by a merchant (Goldie's) & to notify the credit card company if it was suspected fraud. So now I know they got paid, but I decide to go the "extra mile" & call Goldie's to be sure they got paid. The same rude woman answered the phone & abruptly answered "yes" to my question about payment. Not one word of apology or one word of appreciation that I spent so much time & effort to help them get paid & to bring to their attention that their office equipment was faulty & the cause of the problem! I've never had to work so hard to try & give someone my money!!!"
