"The doctors here are very nice. However, I encountered a bad experience. I was scheduled and told to walk in for blood work. It took me a lot to make it to this drop in appt, which I had to spend 40$ In transportation for this said walk in appointment. Once I arrived, I was told the office had to close for that day; yet no calls were made to me regarding rescheduling. The receptionist, Lorena was not helpful at all and found it funny that I (13 weeks pregnant) was upset about the situation and out of the money I spent to make it there. I called the office manager, Christelle over 10 time to try to get help in my situation and she never returned any of my calls. This office lacks accountability for their mistakes and I was declined to be reimbursed for my travel fees and was just told to either come back the next day or go to another location smh"

"Dr Moore and his team is an all black elite team of professionals. They are caring and attend to all needs and concerns. My lady being a first time mom, she felt comfortable and was able to relax an enjoy the process. Monographs Christine is amazing. She always has the room smelling good with aroma therapy and music and candles. She goes above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Greenbelt office is the best"

"The OBGYN Dr (African lady) at Greenbelt is extremely rude. Dr Waldrop and Receptionist in Forestville are amazing. Monika is rude and lied about my appointment after I specifically asked to be scheduled for an ultrasound. Brooke is amazing. They refused to transfer my paperwork to my new doctor"

"After reading some of the previous reviews, I can't believe these women went to the same office. This was my first visit to the practice, and on the day of my appointment I was running late. I called ahead to let them know and was told there was a 15 minute grace period. Well late turned into really late when I got lost trying to find the building. I called back and the young lady that answered gave me directions and stayed on the phone with me as long as she could to make sure I got there. When I did arrive, the staff treated me like I was on time - early even! Instead of turning me away, they still took me even though I had to wait a little longer. The young lady that did my intake was very polite and professional and suggested we do a full exam instead of my annual pap smear. l was seen by Dr. Azumah and she was extremely nice and very thorough. She asked me questions about my health and other tests/appointments that I should have had as a woman of my age. She seemed genuinely concerned about my health. My appointment was more like talking with an old friend than a meeting with a doctor I'd never met before. When we were finished she sent me down to the lab for bloodwork. When I came out of the exam room, the lab tech was standing there waiting for me to walk me down to the lab! And then to further go above and beyond, someone from the lab called me a few days later (on a Saturday!) to let me know the results of my labs! All in all, this was one of the best doctor's visits I've ever had! Every member of the staff I came in contact with was friendly, professional and courteous. I would recommend this office to anyone. I wish I had found them sooner!"

"Review summary: You’ll be happy going to the Forestville location!! I see the ratings continue to go down for this office. Dr. Moore delivered my first son and Dr. Waldrop my second. Here’s how I maneuvered through their offices: First, the Greenbelt office may by far have the worst staff. You’ve been warned!! All of their doctors are great. It’s the nurse practitioners and other staff to watch out for. Some of them can be so rude and inconsiderate to already emotional pregnant women. I learned that if I didn’t want to be there 4 hours+, go there towards the end of the day because they all want to go home on-time. The issue may be that a lot of the NPs are younger, same as the front desk staff, and there just for a paycheck. For them, it’s not a career just yet so they are not as invested into the patients as the doctors and older staff are. They think that everyone’s on Medicaid! And whenever I dispute or try to correct a bill, the biller just recommends that I go on Medicaid as if I would even qualify. The MAs, front desk, and NPs (mostly at Greenbelt) really show that they don’t care for you…and we do have options for care but as a women of color, I was advised to seek a provider within my race due to high maternal mortality rates during and after labor. Dr. Moore took care of me after two miscarriages. My second pregnancy was very tough because my oldest child was so sick and in the hospital for so long. Thanks to Dr. Moore’s team, I was able to stay on short-term disability until I delivered my second child, fat, healthy, and happy! I am forever grateful to Drs. Moore, Osei, and Ayers. People have complained about Dr. Ayers in the past but no bad experiences with him from me. One NP, either Ann or Melissa, literally walked away while I was talking to her. I don’t consider myself a difficult person. Again, the problem staff are younger and just there to collect a paycheck. See the doctors if you can. Avoid Greenbelt. Most of the other offices have much more pleasant staff. Forestville staff are the best but after being seen and delivered two kids through Moore OBGYN, it was worth my peace of mind to drive 45 minutes one-way to the Forestville office to be seen by staff who treated me with dignity. The Silver Spring office had been closed a while during my second pregnancy but they are pleasant there also. I hope that this helps you maneuver through Moore OBGYN. They really have some great people working there and when you can, buy them some cookies or donuts to show them your appreciation. All the best!"
