"I contacted my insurance company to see how I can find a new care provider and they informed me to go on the website and how to search for the specific care I need. While following instructions after putting in all my information this provider and office comes us, now mind you they are showing up in the network as a provider to the insurance company. I called to make an appointment as a new patient and the receptionist tells me “ Oh we prefer not to see patients with that particular insurance”. That is very discriminatory to say and I’ll be calling someone higher up. My response was she should have her name removed off the site. It makes people feel a certain way because your name and business say one thing but to be singled out and being denied care is not right when you are in fact apart of the network."
