To my pleasant surprise, there's also an emphasis on science. I’ve been amazed at the things my son has come home talking about, topics and experiments I wouldn’t have thought to explore at his age. My son has formed genuine bonds, and he genuinely looks forward to his days there. When I'm taking a little too long getting ready in the morning, he actually asks, "Are we still going today?" "Let me start off by saying, I am a very observant/cautious mother. Choosing childcare for my children was not an easy process. When my children first started at Small Talk, I paid very close attention to how my children interacted and responded to Mrs. Lena. I watched their energy during drop-off and pick-up. I also called to speak to them during the middle of the day when they first started. I knew I could detect their feelings over the phone. I also paid attention to the energy of the other children at the daycare. I concluded that my children enjoyed going to Small Talk. Mrs. Lena is dedicated to her daycare children. She has a center full of toys and activities for the kids. You do not have to worry about your kids being bored or not have interactive activities. I believe Mrs. Lena genuinely loves her job and enjoys working with children. Mrs. Lena feels like an aunt to my children. I believe that she is trustworthy and competent."
