"I was told I needed a new motor for my refrigerator and that it would have to be ordered. I was required to pay 150.00 deposit and wait for the part. A technician retuned the following week to 'replace the motor'. He took off a cover inside the freezer and after a couple of minutes put it back on. As he turned to go to his truck, I noticed he was carrying an unopened box which I suspected contained the 'new motor'. When I asked to see the old motor, he fumbled for a moment, realizing the 'new motor' was inside of the still taped up box that it came in. In fact, I knew he hadn't replaced the motor, I saw the unopened box before I asked. He then told me that he didn't have to replace the motor, that he only had to replace the fan blade, which I suspect he only tightened. End result, I was charged 240.00 for them to mis-diagnose the problem and they were not forthcoming when they did not install the new motor...Bottom line, I will not do business with this company again and recommend that you don't either."

"Needed to replace a burner switch on my electric cooktop. Tech reversed the contact points of a jumper cable on the switch and shorted out my entire electric panel (including HVAC thermostat, so I had no heat). He didn't check the panel. He just left, leaving cooktop in pieces on the counter. I called another electrician who restored the panel (but sadly doesn't work on appliances). R&Y tech called to say he'd return the next day to reassemble the cooktop. That was 3 days ago. I don't want him back, anyway. Calling someone else."

He was very thorough and checked the vents for any clogs before checking the dryer. The vents and the ducts were very clogged up and he helped me clean them out. With the duct and vents cleaned out the air flow was so much better. R & Y McLean Appliance Repair even used a vacuum to clean out some clogs inside the dryer.
