"Called and got a recording. "Press One" to schedule. Which I did, and it simply returned to the initial recording. This happened 4 times in a row and then went to a "goodbye". If you cannot manage a phone system, what else will happen?"

"I called Bluemont Appliance over a month ago to repair my 1.5 year old dishwasher. I paid $85 in front for the technician to come to my home. That felt weird, never had to do that before. That should have been a red flag for all the bad things that were to come. The technician came, assessed, told us it was due to our not using rinse agent. He filled the rinse agent, ran the dishwasher, left and told me to call him at the end of the cycle to make sure the heating element did the drying. Also felt not right, but I am far from an expert. OBVIOUSLY the rinse agent didn't change anything. Called him. Said we needed a $200 part that would take 10 days to order. Okay. 14 days later. No call. Called business, transferred to technician. What part was it again? What is the model number? Oh that is discontinued. Really? For a 1.5 year old dishwasher? Yes, but I can get it from another place in 5 days. Am I going to have to chase you down in 5 days? No, I will be there. Unfortunately, I still have not heard from anyone from this company despite my efforts to get an answer. Goodbye $85."

"Made an appointment for next week then called back after realizing I could fit them in sooner. During my scheduled appointment time, no one showed up. I had to call them to inquire and then was told that “they left me a voicemail” and that the technician required to fix my item was not available and that they didn’t know when the technician would possibly be available. Terrible customer service. I will never call you for help again...and I will be sure to tell others not to either."

"Scam didn’t show up until 5:30 pm, mind you window was 9-12. Came in put Rinse Aide in the dishwasher - said that should fix it, when my wife didn’t accept that the technician said WE should have told dispatch the model number, they can’t work on a discontinued model!! Dispatch only asked the make not the model. Charged me the service fee, hung up on me when I called to dispute, DON’T USE THIS COMPANY YOU CAN MAKE A PRETTY GOOD LIVING DRIVING AROUND CHARGING $85 AND SPENDING 5 MINUTES AT A HOUSE, REFILLING RINSE AIDE & TELLING CUSTOMERS THEY CANT WORK ON A MACHINE."

"When you call this company, you get an independent contractor who is not affiliated with the company. My particular independent contractor made me wait two days (I was given time ranges and he didn't show up until 30 minutes after the second time range I waited through). He ended up telling me he was going on vacation in two weeks and my part was expected in 10 days so he would not repair my oven. He told me to call another company. This is after I paid for the service call and had given half of the payment for the part and was told the part was ordered. I called Bluemont Appliance repair to get a refund and they told me that they could not help me because the technician was an independent contractor. I was told to call my credit card and put a "stop payment" on the charge that had already gone through. There is no guarantee I will be getting my refund and I felt this whole experience was very unprofessional and borderline fraudulent."
