"First time, they replaced my wall hydrant and repaired a drain leak for $200, very fair. Second time, they gouged me for $132 in parts that cost $43.22 at Home Depot and wanted $550 more to change out another wall hydrant that I would supply for 10.05 in Home Depot parts and very little labor, sorry, can't use them again."

"Definitely recommend. We recently found out we have a main water leak after getting costly water bills. We knew having a main water leak was going to be costly. Even though Barr plumbing wasn't the cheapest quote, I am glad we went with them. Barry was willing to walk me through every step of the way and possible solutions. He also allowed me to repeat what I heard to make sure I really understood what was going on. Ultimately we had to have our house re-piped, but I appreciate that he was willing to find/investigate a cheaper route before going with the original quote. Also when he left I was amazed with how he cleaned up our place inside out. He swept up where he worked inside, cemented the ground that he had to jack hammer (utility closet and garage) as well as filled back in the holes outside with the dirt and hay with seeds, which I appreciate with the rain coming. Definitely will be using them again for our plumbing needs."
"Once again we had to call Barry to save us: he came out to give us an estimate to fix an outdoor water tap and some minor repairs on the kitchen faucet, as well as diagnose a problem with sewage backing up near the clean out cap. He immediately recognized that to be a city sewer problem. He fixed our two in-house problems in that trip and didn't even charge a service fee. Barry was dead right about the sewage problem: it took the city most of the day, several trucks, digging up a man hole in a yard one street over to clear a massive tree root problem. This would have had sewage backing up in every house on our street! We totally trust Barry's knowledge and his skills. You can't go wrong by calling him!"
