"It's been some time since my family was enrolled with US Family Health Plan, but our experience with them was horrific. My husband was stationed over seas, and my 9 year old son was in a deep depression on top of suffering seizures and being diagnosed with Aspergers. I tried to get him the help he needed, and was denied through this insurance. I called to ask why service was denied, the woman on the phone asked, "which service, I denied them all". I asked what I should do with a 9 year old that is talking about ending his life and she said she didn't know, but that they would not cover the services. Appalling. Disgusting. Heartless. Thankfully, I found a specialized hospital that charged me just $10 a visit and absorbed all other costs. Otherwise my son would have continued to suffer, or something even worse might have happened. I would give negative stars if it were possible."
