"Tried to apply there and didn't come away with a good impression. They have all these hoops they want you to jump through for dangerous and difficult work but they're very unprofessional and can't be bothered to pick up a phone to call you. Also they keep parking their trains in downtown intersections all day so that you have to go halfway across town just to get somewhere a block away."
"Drivers delivering materials and parts for the shop DON'T BE intimidated by overpass (bridge) it's looks small and tiny but trucks 13"6 with 53ft trailer can go underneath SAFELY!"

"The lady that unloaded me at the shipping and receiving very arrogant with attitude she is the first representative of the company with the outside world. So mine opinion is negative for CSX Cumberland MD The company should replace people like this they make the working condition difficult for other employees. And there are so many other people that will do the job better with positive attitude and make the working conditions better for other people."
"Super nice people. GPS will drop you on Virginia st. . For shipping and receiving: I-68 to MD 51/ industrial ave; right on Virginia (swing wide!) Go past CSX locomotives on the left; turn left onto Offut; trucks enter at gate "B" check at office."
