Despite the claims of those driven by political motivations and a vitriolic hatred for any person that does not hold their same beliefs; Oberlin is a superb institution of higher learning. While Oberlin is not perfect, and while no college is, this shows their commitment to improvement and creating a community of diverse and inclusive thought. In addition, this college offers excellent need and merit based financial aid, partially due to their exceedingly large endowment of $1.1 Billion, bringing the cost of attendance, on average, below $10k. This makes Oberlin one of the most affordable private colleges in the nation and an excellent return on investment."
"Visiting our daughter for parents weekend. She has received and outstanding education and taken advantage of many opportunities. The student housing is - deplorable- the cost is astronomical and the service and quality not very good . The fact they have no choice in the where to stay the first 3 years seem just wrong."
