"My husband and I had room reservations for the nite of 13th February. We went to check in at the place and it was unplowed from the snow and the sidewalks were not shoveled or salted and that was on a hill. It was dark and the doors were locked, the man that was inside was not even aware that we were coming for the nite. He was very unfriendly and was cold toward us not offering any help. I asked to use the back door closer to our car due to the snow and ice he said," yes you can use the back door and left the room. We found our way up to check out the room which was over the frontside of the house nearest to the street. There was no breakfast, coffee and the wife that runs the place warned us that there would be no breakfast because she would not be there. The dog had more personality then the man at that home. He was not of any help to us and I was thinking of leaving? However, because I had booked the room and it was getting late and I was from out of town I did not know where else to stay at. The pipes bang and clattered all night and the water made noise in the pipes for the heating, and it was cold. The room however was clean and neat, but the bathroom supplies were a joke two bottles of body shampoo 1/4 left, and the shampoo was something that was left over from another persons that visited it was almost empty. We did not get much sleep with the pipes and the street noise from the garbage pickup service the next morning, very early. We were not talk to the next morning, no coffee, no one came to talk to us. We got our stuff and left . We were very discussed about our stay and how bad of service we received, Not worth any money value for that type of service. Would NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! Would like to know whom the owner of this Inn is and how he will know what kind of service we got on Pre-Valentine's Day outing.. The Pattens."
