"I've only had one year (out of 4-5) for which I've had confidence in their work. Not recommended."

"Should be ZERO stars. Worst experience I've ever had across all customer service categories. I would NEVER recommend this or any other Jackson Hewitt after the so called "service" I eventually paid for. The location had NO in-house tax preparers, which was not mentioned in any appointment literature/communications. After waiting for over an hour for my original appointment, I left my documents (already scanned while waiting) for preparation. I returned twice, for scheduled appointments where I waited over an hour both times, to find that NOTHING had been completed. It was then done so fast that there were errors and omissions. Two more so-called scheduled appointments with the "supervisor" who DID NOT show up, resulting in a 6th round trip when they finally did to actually go through and correct it AFTER tax deadline. I paid a lot more for this service between time off of work, gas and mileage, and sanity just to get it out of my life. I'll take my chances and do it myself from now on. What was supposed to help take one stressful thing of off my stack of to-dos turned out to be the most stressful and frustrating experience ever. I'll NEVER make this mistake again—be sure of that."

"We dropped of our paper work on March 25th and made an appointment to come back and sign. We arrived for our appointment on a Saturday at 1pm. The doors were locked. When they did let us in, the receptionist said she had left us a voicemail at 11AM saying we would have to reschedule. We were out an about and didn't get it. We made another appointment for Thursday, April 7th at 2pm to come back and sign. When we got there, out taxes were still not done! We had to sit in the office and listen to some man. We couldn't see his face or any of our tax information on the computer. One hour later we were finally finished. It was a terrible experience. They are extremely disorganized. There is no tax preparers in the office. You won't be able to see your information on the computer. After 10 years, it was my last time there!"

"This place is excellent. Highly recommended. They definitely changed management, because I had a perfect experience, and the office appeared to be newly renovated with new (much better) employees. Dwayne was awesome and I really didn’t have any issues. I noticed there were bad reviews from prior years, but none of those were even remotely relevant to my experience. It would be a shame if anyone didn’t come here based on past reviews..."

"Do Not take your taxes here. My taxes are being held hostage by this office. They were dropped off a week ago and I’ve called the office repeatedly with no return call so I went to the office on yesterday (Friday 2/22) and the receptionist said Jen the tax repairer would be in the office later that day, I told her to call me once she arrives and I’ll run over and pick them up and I’ll be taking my taxes to someone else. Well, to no surprise no one called me but this morning a guy called me and said he had 2 time slots for me and I told him I didn’t make any appointment for pick up. This place is highly suspect so please keep driving to find a better Jackson Hewitt or a reputable tax service because this location is NOT it. PLEASE BEWARE- YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!"
