H&R Block

"My fiance and I both had problems with them not filing the taxes even after we had paid H&R block for their services. My "tax professional" did not file mine for over a week after I met with him and paid. I had to call him and he had no idea he never submitted them. My fiance had been asking them for over a month to file her taxes after signing them and paying the fee and still nothing has been filed. I used H&R Block the last few years but I will never be back"

"I will never use this location or HR block again after the experience we had this year. We set an appointment and were not seen for over 45 minutes. Only the receptionist checked us in, and several employees walked by seeing my me and my wife sitting there and didn't even ask if we had been helped. After we were finally helped the tax worker who did our taxes input the wrong information from my w2 in and nearly had us owing over 2000 dollars. I had to have them go back and look at all of them again because that didn't add up. There was no apology for this huge mistake. Then the worker advised us to pay our return online instead of them taking it directly out of our account, as we had done last year, and this process is a nightmare. We were not treated with any respect and had to pay over $200 for this experience. Never had this experience before, and never going to give another chance to happen again."

"Absolutely horrible. Will not be returning. We waited nearly an hour after scheduling an appointment. We were ignored. Once we were finally seen, our "tax professional" made an error entering in our info and said we owed almost $3k. My husband found the error and solved it. The tax professional was ready to have us pay that amount, she wasn't even going to double check. THEN instead of paying what we did owe right there in the office as we had done in the past, they made us pay on our own online which ended up being a big hassle. Way overpriced. We will not go there again and will discourage any family/friends from going there."

"Very professional, pleasant environment and incredibly helpful employees. Been their customer for over 20 years and have zero complaints. Anytime something didn't go smoothly it wasn't a problem because they were quick to help us out. Plan on returning every year in the future if things remain this professional! We use the peace of mind option, had to use it once [wasn't a filing issue] and they took all of the worry out of the process and they fixed the issue that they didn't even create."
