"3 Stars because our children are not robots. Teachers are great! Depends on your child and your home teaching. I feel as though they need there own daycare and pre K so when our children arrive at Kipp we all can be on the same page. No way my child in Kindergarten should have two- three digit math problems and word problems to solve. When there just building their skills and confidence. The school bus service they provide Durham Thumbs Down!!! If you work don’t count on waiting at the bus stop with your child to go or come home and be at work on time or for them to be home at the drop off time because this bus company is never come on time. Too many early dismissals and no sports not even at gym."

"BEWARE DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE!!!! This school is horrible. Mr. Eleby is highly unprofessional and lacks respect for not only the students but parents. He lacks problem solving skills necessary to resolve issues between students and parents. In my experience with him I have always had to go over his head to Mr. Ware to get anything done. Mr. Eleby was constantly harassing my daughter even when it was proven to him that another student (10th) grader was leaving her floor to go and find my daughter on her floor. I believe he had it out for her because I constantly went above him to get things done. Mr. Ware is highly effective when resolving issues and knows how to get things done. He is sincere and understanding and I truly believe if he were the principal things would be different.The principal, Ms. Poorman is untouchable, very hard to reach and does not address concerns. There are good teachers there though Ms. Pankey, Mrs. Murphy and Mrs. G.I can't forget the two secretaries, they were so sweet and kind. Security sucks and are not there to protect the children but they allow fights to happen and they happen allllllll the time! Two weeks ago there were adults fighting KIPP students and security did nothing but watch and record. At a later date a security guard with a red beard actually told my daughter to "Get someone for him", That was the straw that broke the camels back. I withdrew my daughter and now she is being home schooled....It's heaven!!!!! Best choice I ever made. My daughter was not safe at this school."

"The majority of these reviews are true your child wont get help they are disrespectful but request respect the rules are made up foolishness. Dont dare ask for gelp you wont get a response or your child might get laughed at by a Dean when they go with an issue they need to shut it down!!!!"
