"I had Dr Jeffrey Chen this morning , very great Surgent made me feel very comfortable and is very professional and knows what he’s doing , I would recommend to go to Dr.Chen being that this was my first ever operation I walked in not too nervous because I can feel that I was in great hands , currently home resting with little pain here and there . Would highly recommend getting any surgery done by Dr.Chen as well as the nurses as well was very professional kind and very warm and opened armed and telling jokes to distract me and make me laugh before surgery knowing that I was nervous about my first surgery would highly recommend this hospital and definitely gets a 5 star from me !!!! "Dr. Allard is an exceptional surgeon. At my consult, he had already done his background work and consulted with other doctors about my case. He set up the two scenarios for my surgery - with him or if needed, at another facility that could handle a more complex outcome. He was very thorough in explaining what to expect through the entire process including the procedure and risks. Dr. Allard answered all of my questions patiently and confidently at this appt. and also on the day of the actual surgery. He was away while I was anxiously awaiting my MRI results but he had his nurse call me immediately with the good news. Dr. Allard called me two days after my surgery to follow up and to answer any questions that I had about my recovery. He has the ability to keep you informed and to make you feel comfortable about the entire process. The administrative staff were wonderful too."

"Dr. Allard appeared rude, angry, threatening, and is the only doctor that I have ever encountered that screams at a ill patient upon meeting him in his office. Never met or spoke to him before and this is how we were greeted after we waited 32 minutes to see him. Shame on you Dr. Allard for treating a disabled patient in that manner. Office personnel not professional either, especially woman at reception. Since they are not a part of Hunterdon Medical Center they could not help, but I hope whoever is in charge, takes this seriously. One advantage of living in Hunterdon is the healthcare, now being forced to go to Morristown. His actions will affect the other surgeons in the practice, doesn’t he realize that?"
