"The nurses and Doctors showed wonderful hospitality and were extremely supportive. However The front desk check in staff showed no compassion or want to ease patients in distress. A room of under comfortable women in distress yet the front desk did not want to answer anyone’s questions or help make the painful process any easier. I mean telling sobbing patients they need to pull their mask up and quiet, telling women who have been waiting there for 6 hours on an empty stomach that that’s they’re problem, frustrated at non english speakers, etc. ,from the moment they buzz you in the door it was attitude and telling boyfriends/support to leave immediately and not allow any goodbyes or for them to ask questions told my finance “ if he’s not paying for anything he needs to go now “ . from the four hours i spent in the waiting room i observed nothing but someone miserable to do their job. I personally had questions and was too anxious to ask due to their demeanor. The nurses and medical staff agreed that a lot of patients have the same complaints and that it needs to be addressed."

"I want to know what ever happen to the tv in the lobby? Cause sitting there for 4-6 hours in silence is torture. That tv in the picture is not there. Neither is the heart felt notes they had for the women to write to their loved one. I felt sitting in there like I was at a prison center. Everyone was nice but felt like your being punished sitting that long in the lobby with only ur phone to look at. The pictures they had left on the wall really did not make sense. No pretty flowers or nice photos to look at on the wall. Not sure what they were going for but the lobby needs to be put the way it was in your photo. The chairs were even put like in a prison center. Make it more comfortable and homie. Instead of feeling like ur at the welfare office or a prison center."

"Called, didn’t even get to the point of going but the phonecall was so rude and heartless it made me decide to go somewhere else entirely. If you’re new to this, and upset don’t even bother because if you get the lady I got she’ll just make you feel like an issue or an idiot. Disheartened."

"everyone was so kind and welcoming. that’s all i could ask for going through a time like this. i was nervous about being put to sleep but the nurses did a great job making sure i knew i was safe and taken care of. i even got extra crackers after my procedure lol. i made sure to say thank you to the nurses on my way out but if i didn’t, THANK YOU!!"

"I went to CHWC for a two-day procedure. All the staff members treated me with respect. I felt supported and cared all the time. They answered all my questions and concerns. The doula was very supportive during the time I was here. The nurses were very kind. The radiologist and doctor were excellent. The health personnel were respectful and compassionate. The wait is long, but rest assured that they are taking the time to take good care of you."
