"Mixed reviews about this center. Nursing staff was very professional and caring. My surgeon did a great job. On the not so good side they claimed they didn't receive my pre-registration form & threatened to cancel surgery. I had confirmation that it was received & had already been reviewed by ASC staff. All was resolved but not before causing undue stress. Then there was a pre-surgery visit by an anesthesiologist who guessed at level of anesthesia I would be given. Why say anything until you know for sure."

The "aesthetics" of the waiting area could def use some TLC.However the level of camaraderie and skill sets the nurse staff/surgeons have is impressive.Well oiled machine for sure.This was my 15th surgery, and I have a harder time coming out of anesthesia . Ms.Carla treated me like a friend...like a woman that needed comfort .I could barley speak as I as 10/10 pain . She wiped my tears and took the extra time to be HUMAN. I know they have a protocol and a need to stay on schedule, but at the need of the day EVERY PATIENT IS DIFFERENT, and they care about that. 100% exceeded my expectations. Well done!"

"My son had surgery yesterday with Dr. Goldstein and we could not be happier about the experience with him and the Abington Surgical Center. Everyone we interacted with was kind and helpful, answering all our questions and making sure we were comfortable. My son is a little over a year old and I was worried he would be scared/upset since we couldn't explain what was happening but the staff was very gentle and soft-spoken with him so that he didn't get upset. There were other small children in the waiting area as well so it was evident they are well versed handling little kids. Everything was clearly communicated beforehand from the Surgical Center through text updates which made it easy to coordinate/prepare."

"The staff is very friendly and professional, and facilities are nice. BUT...shop around for routine services. I got a 2 minute routine x-ray that I was charged $770 for. No one can explain the rationale behind this contracted rate, and no one cares whether something so routine costs $100 or $1000 for their patients / insurance co. No accountability for costs, not coming here again."
