"My son is getting the help he needs so far. I am having issues with communication there. They lack communication. I will call all day and barely can get an answer, admissions will forward me to anyone and any extension to get me off the phone, I do get told different things which I am not fond of. Then there are times if I do get through certain nurses are very short and only wanted to tell me about the bad. I also want to know the good. My son did have an issue with another child bullying him for a short time that child was there and apparently because he didn’t tell the nurses at the time the basically blamed his behavior when he flipped out. I want clear communication but it seems to be an issue."
"I would have foundations of zero if I could my son was there in July nonverbal very aggressive, autistic the therapist would make appointments and then cancel them. I had about maybe one or two appointments one in person appointment. I wasn’t involved in his treatment. They were just pretty much did not get me involved they kept saying how good he was. He only had a little bit of behaviors they were saying how great he was doing group plus the therapist made the discharge meeting. He wasn’t there his supervisor Melissa was there before he was discharged that weekend. He had broken the toilet and I had asked Melissa that’s a concern. She said yeah the therapist said a different thing the psychiatrist kept them on the same medicine. All they did was up at knowing that he has a high tolerance with these meds and do not work. The psychiatrist said this is from the therapist, that he was safe to come home which he wasn’t they recommended in-home services which I tried one didn’t work foundations pretty much Conned into getting him do too. They had a driver pick me up and bring us home I have spoken to a lawyer and I have rights as a mother of I did not have to get him. I did not have to get into the car when I’m getting at is a Foundations was trying to get rid of him they were not taking me seriously again we tried the in-home services. They didn’t work my sons back in the hospital again the hospital contact in Foundations and Foundations says they don’t want him there due to his aggressiveness nonverbal and how he doesn’t do his groups but in the meantime, when he was there, they said he was doing great. He was doing well in group he wasn’t him having any behaviors that it was always good good good when I would check up on them, they sent a kid home that was in danger to society so I would not recommend Foundations if you have a child nonverbal autistic heavyset, and strong and destructive. They did not help him. They sent him home again into society where they knew he was in harms way, and again I would not recommend this place to bring your kids, especially with my situation. They didn’t take me serious I mean he was only in their month they were trying to get rid of him like in two days but at the time and services in place so they finally discharged at the end of August, and he started doing his behaviors at school home community going after his behavior specialist, the BABC so now due to him being aggressive, and the things foundation has said about him no one will take them due to his aggression. Him hurting others himself and destruction, and to be honest there’s no help at all here for kids like him there Hass to be somewhere out there for kids. He’s not the only kid like this so foundations lied to me because they told the hospital different again they wanted him out of there they did not get me involved in therapies but again I wouldn’t send your child here. They just discharge them anyway even though they’re aggressive and they knew that and they still had him and put others in harms way. There’s no safety and it’s very sad that these people are supposed to help our children and they’re not in the system really sucks because no help out there for kids like him and that is so sad"
"I would give foundations a zero if I could my son was in there due to behaviors aggressiveness very harmful to others, not safe in the home or the public or school. The therapist would make appointments and then cancel him. I only went there, one time I was not even involved in the meetings with Michael. They work with Michael by himself before they sent him home he ended up breaking a toilet, and I told Melissa about that being an unsafe behavior, so they said try out in-home services they called me into bringing him home, even though he was very destructive and harmful and sent him home to hurt others. He was going after me going after his brother after he got discharged they sent a harmful child home even I told Melissa and his therapist that I feel unsafe in the home and they still discharged him now my son is back in the hospital he didn’t have in-home services, which did not work. He was going after his behavioral specialist, he was breaking anything in sight. I have nothing due to him being destructive now him being a Hospital Foundations will not except him now they’re saying it’s because he’s going to hurt others. They need to keep their staff in clients safe, and then they were saying some about him being nonverbal. He was there before a Foundations and they always told me how good he was. He good what he was and how he was doing so well and group so if you want your kid and if your son is in my situation. My son is a big kid, very strong, I wouldn’t recommend this facility because they send kids home that are harmful to society and my lawyer said as a right of his mother, I have rights and I did not have to pick him up but again foundation set up a ride for me and had me come and sign the papers, and they knew he was in harms way so again I would not recommend this they will not take my son back to their hospital so pretty much they all lied to me and said he was doing so good. They kept him on the same medication’s, all they did was up them and it still didn’t work again I would give them as a parent of a autistic nonverbal very aggressive son they do not help at all so again I would not recommend if you have a big kid like mine, very strong and nonverbal they will not take you. They will not help either with my experience I had they were not compliant. They would do what they want to again I was not even involved in family therapy maybe once or twice one time I went to the facility so my son didn’t get no help there and they didn’t put them on the right medication so I had to give them a bad review. Very sad that there’s kids out there that need help and they will not help them, especially if you’re in a situation like mine"
"The staff at Foundations Behavioral Health are amazing. Pallavi S. AND Mr. Joseph Simeon are FANTASTIC. They look after my son with love, compassion and excellent care. They care about the children and want to ensure their success. They are both very knowledgeable and use a variety of skills to encourage growth of the children and while at the same time meeting them where they are. The child are provided with individualized care and the staff works to collaborate with the parents, teachers and other support members to ensure success. God bless them and the wonderful care given to the children at Foundations Behavioral Health A+"
"My daughter had a positive experience. She always regressed so much whenever she was hospitalized. At Foundations she was finally able to make progress. They did her medication in story form to help her understand the importance of taking it."
