Windsor House Apartment

"The service is good and location is too! Patrick and Gabby are great but things that bother me are just annoyances residents deal with. 1. Why are laundry rooms open all day? Roof closes at 9pm or something and you have these fools acting like it’s a dormitory doing laundry at 3am, it’s esp annoying for ppl who live near that area. Doorman should close these common areas around 10-11pm to avoid disturbing residents at obscene times. You will literally hear zippers clinking in the dryer SO loudly through doors. Just close off the area. Ppl can learn to do their laundry from 7am to 11pm or whatever. 2. They claim it to be smoke free…highly doubtful. It’s winter right now and my god it reeks of smoke in my apartment from the hallways you can smell it and I think they don’t care? They do checks of apartments every so often so surely they can tell who smokes in their apt but seems like they turn a blind eye to it? It definitely smells like smoke."

"Windsor House is a very nice place to live. The Landlord is a very respectful person and his workers are just as respectful. It is within walking distance to several Metro Stations and park. I would differently recommend living in Windsor House to all who are interested in finding a place of residence."

"AMAZING TEAM OF STAFF. Gabby & Patrick are a great team & also do a lot for the residents as far as gifts & activities. It's great to see mgmt that is actively involved in letting the residents feel welcome at all times even way after a move! Whoever is in charge of hiring also does a good job with concierge (Quinton, Hasan, & I think her name is Barbara... they're A1)! The pool is great and the square footage size vs what you pay beats a lot of other places in DC. If you move in because of this review, mention me :). Thank me later. (Also there is COFFEE EVERYDAY!!!) You won't regret it! That sounds like I work here. PS I do not work here haha"

"I just want to commend the management and maintenance staff for doing an excellent job remodeling my bathroom. As a senior, I found it difficult and somewhat unsafe to climb into the bathtub to take a shower. Now I have a beautiful new walk-in shower with grab bars. Also the new floor tiles and overhead light are great. Windsor House has been my home for 29 years and I've enjoyed living here."
