"They got booze. They may or may not have what you are looking for--and they likely have no clue if they do. We asked if the had something and they told us "No". Then another employee told us they had it on the back wall. It wasn't there. So then they confirmed they didn't stock it. We looked elsewhere in the store for other booze--and found what we originally wanted (andxthey claimed not to stock) on the opposite side of the store... Meh."

"177 is one of the bigger liquor stores in Pasadena, and their selection is decent. My only complaint—and it's been a problem for a few years now—is that they do not always have prices on the shelves for every item. I've experienced this particularly in the microbrew section."
"Great service. They carried the precise wines I was looking for, especially the Florio dry Marsala for cooking. And the Santa Margherita piano grigio, great for shrimp scampi, and for drinking."
"The staff here are Incredibly Rude. The two women behind the counter were too busy having a conversation and completely ignoring me. After many years of shopping here I am never coming back. Go across the street to Cheers, very nice people over there, they do not ignore their customers."
