FasterCare – Urgent Care, Butler

"It’s pathetic. I don’t think the doc spent more than 50 seconds. I was waiting on someone to see me out, and after waiting for 20 minutes I step out to find them having dinner. I asked my doc to check for reaction between prescription and my current meds - nothing. No first impressions, no medical advise. Best I got was - “if this persists go to ER” in which case why the heck are these guys there for.."

"Last time I showed up at 8 pm they told me to go to emergency room . It closes at 9. Today I called and they said they are not allowed to tell me an estimate of time of a wait but there is a lot if people in the lobby. 5 minutes later I noticed there was no wait ."

"Awful! I lost my voice, throat feels though it is bleeding andI was told there is bleeding when looking in my ears. They gave me no medication-told me to go see my PCP instead. But they took my money. They definitely took my money"

"Dr. Yap should NOT be seeing/treating/diagnosing anyone! How she has an MD behind her name is beyond me! Her bedside manner/cocky attitude is unacceptable! My 18 year old daughter went into the Butler Faster Care with a sore throat, sob, chest achy, headaches and was told by Dr. Yap that the faster care is for sick people only. She greeted my daughter while walking into the exam room with “how old are you” my daughter says 18, she says “where’s your parents, how did you get her” my daughter told her that she was 18 and she drove.She then tells my daughter that if she could walk from her car to the building that she’s not short of breath(my daughter does have exercise induced asthma), she told my daughter that she needs to get off of her Paxil 20mg and get on something with a higher dose. My daughter told her that she went to chiropractor had 5 ribs out and was asked by this rude doctor “did you have X-rays done to prove that”, my daughter told her that she is tachy, Dr. Yap says “how do you know your tachy, give me a number if you know your tachy” Told her she does not have a virus..Well, coughing up thick yellow mucus, headache, sore throat, achy chest, sob sounds like some kind of virus to me NOT anxiety!!! This doctor has NO right treating any patients with having obviously a low IQ if she thinks those combined symptoms that my daughter has are of anxiety! I’ve never had an issue at this place unless this physician is the one that walks in the room! She is a bad reputation for Independence Heath System! I will be going to Med Express from here on out!"

"There is no reason this place should be open. Taking a copay payment 1 day then the other they can’t see someone because of an error on there part? I’ve had my concerns dismissed multiple times since this place was opened, I’ve been misdiagnosed, and now I’m basically being stolen from. IQ and literacy tests should be mandated. Some of the doctors need to be more respectful. At this point I’d rather die of the flu while waiting for my PCP appointment then step into this building. There’s a reason this places has 2 stars on google. And there’s a reason that everyone hates the butler health system. It’s a joke, and the only thing the people there care about is themselves and how much money they putting into there pockets."
