"When I moved out I had to rewash all my clothes and thoroughly clean everything else because my apartment was filled with mold and dust. Management was not concerned about the mold when I told them about it and it got worse after it was cleaned. There was even a mushroom growing from the floor. My apartment had many fruit flies, slugs, crickets, and spiders. The apartments are very old and things break easily. The water frequently goes out and is often cloudy and gross. Packages and food get lost because the addresses are hard to see from the parking lot.I was often charged an $18 monthly liability fee even though I showed that I had insurance multiple times."

"The walls are paper thin so privacy is out of the question if you speak louder then a whisper? But it's a great starter apartment for the young ready to grow wings. The neighborhood is really nice and great schools nice shopping area convenient. It's a safe place and the rent is a bit high but overall it's a nice place!"

"Been there for 3 months, the bowed countertops that I was told were going to be fixed still haven’t, I have a cracked window that hasn’t been fixed, the gutters are clogged and overflow outside my bedroom window like someone’s pouring a bottomless 5 gallon bucket off the roof, my rent payment hasn’t been consistent since I’ve moved in, I got my own renters insurance policy and provided proof yet am still being charged an $18 waiver fee for not having it every month, when I call and talked to the property manger she was nasty and told me that it was my choice, which I’m confused about because I know it was my choice to have my own renters policy but I didn’t know I was going to have to pay a $18 fee per month still either way, the place smells of mildew as well so if your sensitive to that I highly recommend you stay away, as a matter of fact I recommend this anyways, will be getting as far away as I can when my lease is up. This place is quick to take your money and evict but when you need something done they move at a snails pace if they move at all!"

"My wife and I moved here for a short while when we fell on hard times. And since I had lived in box hill for most of my life I thought how bad could it be. First off, the walls are paper thin, you can hear your neighbors as if they are in the room with you. So we could hear our lovely neighbor SCREAM AND SLAM THINGS AROUND EVERY NIGHT. We went to management multiple times and nothing was done. When the property manager first showed us one of the units I notices a strong cleaning chemical smell and she said they had just cleaned this unit out from the previous tenants. I realize now it was to try to get the smell of damp, mold and stale cigarettes out of our "non smoking" unit. We had to throw away our couch and mattress because the smell never came out. The heater didn't work properly, we would blast it and it would still be cold, which is almost impressive for a 500sq ft apartment. We ended up paying more to attempt to heat that place than we pay now in our 1200 sq ft place. After all their fee's you will end up paying just as much as a MUCH NICER place. I repeat, DONT EVER MOVE HERE!"

"I was thinking about getting a place and it seems nice. Small, however it's like your own little cottage/townhouse. Some even come with a washer dryer hookup or you have to use the laundry room. Not spacious more for a single person and maybe a dog ."
