"Everything was fine living there for a while. Really old, really outdated. Roof leaked, but it's what you get for the cheapest prices. The kicker was the fraudulent $650 recarpeting they insisted they had to do because of cat urine they couldn't deep clean. Only problem is that my cat never peed on the carpet or anywhere else, I think I would have noticed if my apartment smelled like piss every day. On top of that, they randomly decided I got to pay for new drip pans for the stove that was filthy when I moved in. 1/10 don't recommend."

"The apartments are really nice and the grounds are beautiful. I have a family member who lives here. I haven't heard great things about management, though, and the cost of living here is outrageous."

"Don't rent from them... buy a house, write the interest off and do yourself a favor. You'll be paying a rent that is just as expensive, possible more, then if you would just purchase your own house. I would not recommend this complex. While the area is nice, and it is one of the cheaper, nicer places to live, their customer service is extremely lacking. I gave notice that I would be moving out. Paid the early termination fee required, in full, prior to when it was due. I inquired about the walk through that was completed and if they found everything satisfactory, this was confirmed via email. When I received a statement in the mail I found to my surprise... that I owed additional funds. These funds were for removal of "bio hazard carpet and pad". Funny, because I am actually certified by the IICRC and I can assure you that the carpet, which had some pet stains on it, was not "bio hazard". If pet stains are bio hazard, then anyone who has a pet that has had an accident on the floor would then in fact need to have the flooring removed by a certified team and disposed of as medical waste, per the guidelines established by the IICRC as well as the State of Maryland. Here is the real kicker. The carpet was never replaced prior to my arrival. I lived there for a bit over 6 years. On 1/27/2022 I contacted the property management company inquiring about upgrades and letting them know that there were areas were the carpet delaminating. On 2/2/2022 I received a return email that they would like to come in and inspect the carpet, which I told them would be 100% fine. I never heard back regarding that inspection or an answer to my questions. Since receiving the additional bill in the mail, I have emailed them only requesting additional information on 12/1/2022, 12/2/2022, 12/3/2022 and again on 12/7/2022. I have never received a response even confirming receipt of the email. I have also, never once said that I wouldn't pay the invoice amount. I have only asked for additional information, which no where in the lease agreement does it state that access to that information is not available to me. This organization has no propriety. BUT if they ever need anything from you, they can threaten to evict or sue? That just doesn't sit well with me. Communication is a two way street. Do yourself a favor and get out while you can. Rent has gone up every single year I have been there, but they don't do any betterments or improvement to your unit while you are there. Photos of the delamination as well as my "bio hazard" carpet have been provided. These photos were taken after I moved out and cleaned."

"Suzanne is literally the worst. She will be rude on the phone and in person and then have the audacity to blame you. Even maintenance will tell you she's awful and everyone complains about her. Be prepared to spend a ridiculous amount of money to heat your apartment in the winter months. I've had to pay well over 3x my BGE than my previous apartment. The windows are original and awful. They pour cold air in. Coincidentally, all the vents point into the windows, so your sending heat out. They also nicely allow bugs in. The slider door isn't insulated/lacks weather stripping. There's also cold air pouring in under the cabinets. I can only assume it's coming from the vent from the dryer. Parking is atrocious for the amount of buildings and tenants. Maintenance picks and chooses what they want to fix and they usually "don't do that.""
