"New guy was killing it behind the food line today! Good, fresh, quality foods. The older lady training him was a bit crass and demeaning but got nicer when she was not stressed. She just seemed a little impatient with the new guy."

"The milk being sold here is always spoiled or on the verge of being spoiled. It's been this way for months. It's unfortunate because the staff here is very friendly and the store is always clean. The situation with the milk is beyond frustrating. It's also (probably not) the fault of the store but more than likely the vendors that supply the milk aren't handling it properly. Either that, or the milk is sitting out for extended periods of time before being loaded into the refrigerator. Even so, I've tolerated "borderline" milk for the sake of convenience many times. Without fail, the milk is "borderline" OR to the point of actually separating and breaking down because it's so rotten. It's never fresh. Also, it doesn't seem to matter what the sell by date is. Although, if it's at least a week before the sell by date then "maybe" it will be tolerable if you consume it all the same day, but it's risky. If you try to keep it in your fridge for a couple days, you'll end up dumping it down the drain. If it's a day or two before the date or the day of, forget it. It's trash. It's also not uncommon to find the milk expired and still in the refrigerator. If they get this milk situation resolved and keep it consistent, I would quickly rate them with 5 stars."

"Clean place. Pretty ordinary convenience store. Parking is a little hectic at certain times of the day. Gas prices are similar to anywhere else."

"I've just recently begun going to High's to purchase gasoline. Today I was hungry, and decided to go inside to see what food was available. I was shocked that they had fried chicken! They also had gorgeous looking sandwiches and salads. What a surprise!! I had not been inside of a High's store in probably more than 25 years! In fact, I didn't even realize they still existed until about a year ago. As a child, I remember High's was basically a place to buy ice cream milk, sodas and regular little snacks. So glad to see that this company has been able to survive all these years, and evolve into what they have become. I will definitely be stopping back in to try some of those sandwiches and salads. The chicken was pretty good too. The pizzas also looked very good."
