"Nothing but a cesspool of miscommunication and regret - don't let the name allow to assume there's prestige where none exists. You'd be better off at a vet clinic, and they'd probably provide better care at a more affordable price too. This hospital system will never be worth the travel for out of town patients, and is far from accommodating."

"My non- verbal disabled son had surgery to fix a inguinal hernia. When the surgeon came out he explained to me. That he also “fixed” a bowel intussupstion. It was never documented. Two months post-op he started having severe health issues that resulted in my son having the hernia mesh removed at Beaumont due to the mesh being so large it was growing into his bladder ! This was after several attempts going back and forth test after test with U of M. They kept just recommending I put my son on psych meds. Zero stars!!!!! I’m still dealing with his bowel issues two years later. That started after the surgery at U of M!"

"Everyone I have dealt with has been an absolute pleasure to deal with at this hospital. I cannot say enough good things about my rheumatologist, Dr. Chakrabarti. She listens, is compassionate, communicates, and is a problem-solver. When others dismissed my issues or took them lightly, Dr. Chakrabarti came right in and starting trying to solve the problems immediately. Thanks to her, I now know what's going on. The radiology teams both in the Taubman building and in the cardiovascular departments have been fantastic. Every time I have had to visit, they have been amazing. Overall, every department has been great. I really appreciate the team at U of M Hospital. It has been one of the better decisions I have made."

"Over the years I’ve had great things about UM Hospital. Since I’ve had the pleasure to visit the emergency room not once, not twice but 3 times during the last 3 months. The first time we waited about 7 hours before we even had been seen. 3 doctors came around 1 by 1 asking the same questions and doing the same procedure. Never once actually giving us any helpful information as to what may be happening. Just set tight and we’ll be right back. (50 minutes later). This time we’ve been here for about the same 7 hours but at least we have seen 3 doctors and have no idea what could be wrong. I have given this place 3 separate chances and each time they mess it up. The spread themeselves too thin and now can’t provide good quality care. This place is a joke."

"I had placenta acredia so we had to travel from upper Michigan the childrens and womans part of the hospital was a great experience my doctor (Ann-Marie Opapari) was AMAZING my nurses were amazing my hole team was amazing they took very good care of me an my baby an husband"
