"The previous reviews regarding the manager are sadly true. It must be an awful place to work and to work for her. She seems to have some serious chip on her shoulder against customers, and in a retail business that simply does not work. Too bad."

"I’ve experienced customer service personnel having a bad day before. It happens. But the staff at this place is on another level. The manager, I think it was the manager, or at least the angriest staff member snapping at her coworkers, employees openly complaining about customers calling about store policies, then mocking the customer’s questions about store policies, same manager coming back out with half a string cheese hanging out of her mouth … legit impressive level of unprofessionalism. Quick reminder to the staff at Once Upon a Child in Cranberry, PA, your sorting area is literally behind the registers. We can all hear you. If you all hate your jobs so much, maybe find something else? Or at least find somewhere to work where you can be angry in private?"

"This place is overpriced and such a rip off. Sunglasses from the dollar store here were $5.99 and the toys are triple the price you can find new anywhere else. I get that it’s hand me downs but the prices are not worth the visit. You may find a steal once in a while but you would have better luck on Facebook marketplace."

"I took some items to sell and I was told my items were worth $30 for credit and since I had a cart of stuff was asked if I wanted to do a "trade." I said yes assuming the $30 would go towards the purchase. This is NOT the case. Looking at my receipt I didn't get a "credit." When I asked about it, I was told the 10% discount was the credit. Don't let them lie to your face like that, the 10% discount is for anyone who sold items to them the same day, that's just the company policy. So, I had to return my entire purchase and then I had to ask her for my credit because she wasn't going to give it to me. I was told "no, because we had done a trade" This person wanted me to think that she was going to KEEP the stuff I was selling to them and the entire purchase I just returned to her and just walk out. I said, no there wasn't a credit on that purchase she had only given me the discount. She then told me my credit would be in a check????? Ok, and she can't just admit she was wrong, or made a mistake or something, leading me to believe it was on purpose. That was just a wild experience and I will never bother with this location again."

"Horrible staff. Went in to sell a new ride on bumper car and new balance bike. Worth well over $160+ for both and they offered $30 for both. Then asked about buying a power wheels they had sitting there and they said no because one of the employees said she was going to buy it when she gets the money. Another employee was bringing in her own items and appraising them herself. Wouldn’t recommend anyone going here."
