"Just complained about this company on the BBB, hoping to get a refund now after 3 months of waiting. I had to book a new hotel after staying here not even 3 hours, I couldn’t do it. If you’re a solo female traveler especially… I would stay far away because the men at the front desk will ask you to dinner and friend you on Facebook and make you feel very uncomfortable. And don’t even get me started on the rooms. 1 star all around."

"In old rooms, the lock broke, we were locked inside for an hour and a half, it was impossible to get out through the window with bars, if there was a fire or something we could have died inside. It was compensated only with half a night's reimbursement after spending more than a month behind calling, it was valued at $50 to have two people locked up for an hour and a half. We missed part of an NBA game. Definitely try to fix the locks because you could have a misfortune. Money does not compensate for the bad situation experienced, but in the future try to improve your facilities (old ones), so that it does not happen again."

"This is an older Inn but has a fair amount of charm as a result. The room was spacious although the bathroom was cramped. There is no elevator and there are many stairs. The bed was comfortable and the room had a fireplace (not working but nice just the same). The rates were reasonable and it's located about 20 min walk from the Dupont Circle neighborhood and metro. They have coffee in the lobby 24 hours but a nice touch would have been some fruit, muffins also. The air conditioner in the room was incredibly loud and cycled on and off all night. I arrived before check-in and was pleased that they had the room ready, but was amazed that they wouldn't let me use it before the check-in time unless I paid an extra fee (which I declined to do)."

"This was one of the coolest experiences at a 2 star hotel. Nathan was able to accommodate for my friends and I very efficiently and quickly. He was very kind and professional. I highly recommend anyone who looking a place to sleep or just relax to come here."

"♿️ = This hotel is almost 100% inaccessible. No suitable wheelchair entry, no elevator, thin halls This was one of those hotels where I kept trying to stay positive and make up excuses for it, but eventually could no longer. Firstly there was NOTHING near here. I do understand it's historic, but if you're going to have no amenities, have a CVS or something so we can buy them. I couldn't sleep because any time anyone closed a door anywhere in the hotel, the whole building shook. The TV had a weird loud clang every 5 minutes. We turned it off. Unplugged it. STILL CLANGS! We don't travel with toothpaste as 10/10 hotels offer a travel toothbrush and paste kit at front. They did not. Also when we checked in, it was stressfully chaotic at the front desk. I still am not sure what was happening till now. People were arguing and the one concierge kept having to leave. I really just love to post food pics here on Maps, but this was too much. I hope future guests have a better experience."
