Hilton Garden Inn Haymarket

"This is probably the best HGI we have ever stayed at. The hotel is pretty new and centrally located in the small town of Haymarket. Plenty of places to eat and shop within walking distance of the hotel. We stayed over the Christmas holiday for five nights. The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is well kept, I saw a maintenance person spot panting scuffs on the outside of the room doors. Everything looks brand new. We didn’t eat at the hotel, the menu looked a bit foo foo. The hotel staff was very friendly and the hotel accomodated our two cats. We will definitely stay there again if we are ever in town again."

"I travel around the country with big equipment cases and have come to expect Hilton Garden Inns to have full size carts. This hotel only has small triangle carts. Due to this I have to make five trips to my room rather than two. Small carts are something I expect from a Tru Hotel which is meant for a one night stay. Also, If you plan to stay for an extend period of time do know that the guest laundry is 9 AM to 9PM. At no point was this mentioned at the front desk or on the Hilton website. I work long days and wash my laundry late at night. Since I just found about this at 10:20 PM I now have no clean clothes for work tomorrow. If this curfew for guest laundry is so there isn't a disturbance after 10 PM then the guest laundry shouldn't have been placed on the second floor. This could be a five star review with the hotel being modern with nice rooms and pleasant customer service at the front desk. The WIFI/Internet is a 31 Mbps up and 31 Mbps down which isn't bad for large file uploads. However, when I'm staying here for a week at a time for work it's the little inconveniences that add up."

"This was our first time staying at the Haymarket Hilton and it was a great choice. The front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room was ready and as requested, we were given a room on the top floor. The hotel is new and the rooms are a great size with plenty of room to move around. The room was clean and fully stocked with supplies (not always the case in some hotels, as we all know). The location was perfect for catching up with friends in the area as well as easy access to the highways for our business meetings. We will be staying here again when we visit the area. Highly recommended for visits just outside of the beltway."
