"Peking Garden provides perfectly prepared, flavorful, delicious, traditional Chinese cuisine. The atmosphere reminds me of what a restaurant from the 40s or 50s would be like. The waitstaff are extremely attentive and friendly, all dressed in suits and white shirts with name tags. All tables have white table clothes, very traditional Chinese decor. Unlike many Chinese restaurants, the flavorful food stands on its own without a lot of artificial seasonings (MSG) and sugar. Clearly everything is made from scratch. The Peking Duck is of course fabulous. The green beans crisp, spicy and flavorful, moo shu isn't too oily or over-sauced, all vegetables retain their healthy goodness. They have all the very cool photos of the myriad of famous folks who have dined there, which is fun. Very deceiving from the outside, in the midst of a strip mall. Gorgeous on the inside, and like I said, you feel like you've been transported into another era. Highly highly recommended."

"PG is a Washington institution dating from the George HW Bush Era. It is still a solid choice for Asian food. And their Peking Duck is a top choice. The food is flavorful and the staff attentive. Portions are large but so are the dinner prices. The dining areas are very noisy. Seating 6 around a large table big enough to hold food for 6 means conversation is difficult. I hadn't been here in 10-15 years. I am glad we went. But if I don't go back for another 10-15 years, I won't lose any sleep."

"It was our first time here. We arrived a little past 6pm on a Saturday. It was practically just about a full house with lots of customers but the atmosphere was pleasant. As we were waiting behind four or so people, everyone but two made reservations. The couple that didn't were seated right away. We also were very fortunate to be seated quickly without reserving a table. The food was good. We ordered the duck, shitake mushrooms over baby bok choy, and sea bass with black bean sauce. They were delicious! Rather pricey for the three dishes which came out to be over $200 with 20% tip. It was nice to see pictures of so many famous people that visited. Walls and walls and walls were decorated with celebs. Both president Bushes and John Travolta were on the wall. I'd recommend visiting at least once."

"I haven't been to this restaurant in decades. It was great to eat there again. We were 4 of us. My friends go there often so we chose their favorite dishes. We started off with spring rolls. They were fresh and delicious. Then we had the leek and Scallion Dumplings. So yummy. Then we ordered their speciality: Peking Duck, followed by Jeo-yen shrimp, and 4 season string beans. It was a very enjoyable meal. The service was excellent. There are so few good Chinese restaurants in our area now. This one is definitely on the list."
