"I have been bringing my four-legged family members to the Austintown Veterinary Clinic for more than thirty years, and am so glad to have them treat and care for my pets."

"I had taken my cat here for years for upper respiratory problems with no results. They only ever gave him one antibiotic. After they told me they couldn’t operate on his teeth I pretty much gave up. I thought I would just take him home and let him live out his life. Then he got really bad so I decided to take him to a different vet. They ended up giving him a liquid antibiotic that I had to go to the actual pharmacy for (never once did that here) and his upper respiratory problems cleared up in the first three days. And they also had all his medical records mixed up so I had a lot of fun explaining that to the new vet. They lied about several things in his records. Never again. Don’t take your pets here if you care about them. Thousands of dollars I’ll never get back."

"This establishment is great They are so nice to your fur babies They don't come out of there shaking ( chihuahuas) like they did their other vet."

"Always an honest experience with Dr O'Neill. She is a straight shooter, which I prefer--especially since I don't know what I'm talking about. I'd rather be told what I should do instead of given 3 different options then expected to randomly choose."

"Disappointed with the way I was treated today. I have been taking my animals to this clinic since I moved here 10 years ago. I requested an appointment on Monday to get my cat in on Thursday. They called Thursday to tell me that because I haven’t been in since “2020” I am considered a new patient and no availability until December. I tried to get an appointment in 2021 but couldn’t because of Covid restrictions and tried again in 2022 but was told to go to MedVet (which I did and they have record of that). Mary, I believe her name was, condescendingly told me that I need to be bringing him in yearly “just like we go to the doctor yearly”. She was defensive and incapable of having a conversation, as I was just trying to make sense of this situation. Zero empathy or compassion for working in the field she chose. She hung up on me after I told her I have no choice but to find another Vet in the area. The receptionists are the heart and face of a business. If she treated me like that, how will my animals be treated; and why would I ever feel comfortable stepping foot back into that clinic again? I hope they can take this experience and train their staff to do better."
