"The location was great and the staff was friendly. The room was nice, though the room was too hot even though the heat was off. I was grateful for the ability to open the windows. When the heat did run, it was extremely loud. The streaming to the tv didn't work. I called support, but they identified that it was a hotel-wide issue. I will go back. Parking was convenient as well since I had a car this trip which I don't usually do in DC."

"Awful water pressure in the shower. We brought it up but nothing was done. The body wash, shampoo and conditioner smell disgusting!!! Very strong smell that doesn't come off. I think something more neutral or without a scent would be a safe bet for a hotel. The bathroom was clean and modern. Room was spacious and bedding clean and comfy. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything. Not far from the subway station."

"Stayed here over the weekend , very clean room can’t complain about anything. Staff were very friendly and helpful when it came to parking. Close to many tourist spots like the zoo, museums, monuments and other things. Walked around at night felt safe."

"UPDATE: Security deposit has been returned next after contacting the hotel. One month after still haven’t got received my security deposit back? That’s unacceptable. Also, during our stay the room was absolutely freezing as heating did not work. A thunder like noise was coming from somewhere through the night. Only next day we realised it’s because of the old windows not shutting properly and draft was coming through the gap. On the plus side, bathroom was nice and beds comfortable. Staff seemed nice and friendly. Location is brilliant, safe area to walk around."

"I had none of the challenges that others have recently noticed--in fact, I had really wonderful service throughout our time. Our room was MASSIVE, with a really well-appointed bathroom and dressing area. Our AC worked very well (too well--got cold!), and the front desk staff was incredibly friendly. One night, we had an issue with a loud room next to us, and we were quickly changed into a new room (at our request), and they called the room to discuss after we left. All staff was very friendly, and there was a great selection of snacks for purchase downstairs, as well as a microwave you were welcome to use. The location, as always, is one of my favorites. 3 minutes to Foggy Bottom metro, 10 min walk to Georgetown, and 5 minutes to a Whole Foods and several quick-service restaurants. We will absolutely stay again."
