"I had initially rated the Aldi at Valley Centre in Owings Mills a solid 4 out of 5, based on their food selection, fresh produce and rock bottom prices. Unfortunately, I have since lowered my rating to a 2 out of 5, because many of their grocery items are either out of stock or not fresh. Sorry, but I won't buy salmon with a pull date 2-3 days out. Nor will I buy bananas that are mushy with brown spots. A couple times I purchased mushrooms that smelled bad when opened at home. Another thing. Why are so many of your products placed high up on a shelf where shorter folks and seniors have difficulty reaching? I like low prices. But value fresh food and product availability more. I will be shopping elsewhere from now on."
