"Second time I put in a bakery order and it was not ready for the scheduled pickup time. No sorry it was not ready either. The first time it was supposed to be ready at 10:00 and it wasn't. They were rude to me telling me it was not ready. Today I was told to come back in a few hours. If your baker doesn't get in until 8 then don't have a 8:00 pickup time online available. So sad you don't get I am sorry for the inconvenience. Guess I be ordering elsewhere from now on."

"Ordered and picked up a large Turkey Breast that was picked up 11-22-2023 that was to be cooked and paid extra! On 11-23-2023 I put it in the oven to warm up. after 1 hrs I brought the turkey out to serve and found the meat was still pink, not cooked. So now we had to put it back into the over and wait another hour. It's now 5:09pm on Thanksgiving!!1 Very upset!"

"Rhonda helped me so much tonight! I was struggling with my self checkout and she helped me all the way through. If anyone sees this that has the power to give her a raise she deserves it she was so friendly I offered to tip but she refused bc they don’t allow tips. If she is not given the raise she deserves She at least deserves a large amount of praise from the rest of the team that works there. Thank you Rhonda for your patience and your help!"

"I love this store!! The manager, Shelley, is the best. However, today I had a bad experience and I want to make sure this doesn’t become a pattern. With only two lanes open, I opted for the self checkout. This is a sloooww process and should not be used for over 15 items. The machines are not quick enough to keep up. As I was checking out, every time I didn’t put the item on the already filled scale, I had to get an assistant to scan and allow me to put it my bags in my cart. This went on for a good fifteen minutes. The assistant was hovering and going through my bags and making sure I paid for everything and at one point suggested I take everything out and start over. She asked me if I paid for this or paid for that…at one point she was taking things out of my already bagged items to make sure I had paid for everything. As if that was the issue. Finally, when I had my card in the machine and was paying, the same woman came over and canceled the payment to go through my bags and make sure I paid for the cat food and Gatorade. As a result, I ended up getting charged for four gatorade cases instead of two. So now I have to go back and get a refund after feeling like I was a thief. I’m insulted beyond belief. Embarrassing doesn’t cover it. My son was with me and kept asking what was wrong and telling me the lady wants us to “keep paying”. At some point, I asked her if she just wanted to finish it up for me and let me know what I owed. She laughed but I was not joking. I was shaking when I left I was so upset. Unprofessional, disrespectful and overly aggressive behavior - when you all know you need to update your archaic legacy data systems. I visited this store because of the prices, consistency, and amazing customer service. I will no longer shop at the Abingdon, MD. location. Regards, Lauren Roberts"

"I always order instacart. There was a cashier who kept commenting while I was shopping embarrassing me in front of everyone because I had a large order. This is why I never shop in the store, if someone is paying 20 dollars or 400 dollars you should hold off your comments till you are done with the customer. She also made me feel rushed, this is not aldis. I am still a human being, just because someone buys a lot of groceries doesn’t mean they should be treated negatively. I will not be shopping here ever again. Do not shop here if you have big orders of food, you will be public ally humiliated."
