"I have an appointment for my son 11/29//2023 around 2pm I was called around 7:30am that same morning that my son doctor is sick, therefore they are canceling my appointment, I understand that part completely, but the scheduler who called was so rude on the phone, she was screaming so loud, this is not even 8am yet, and I told her if she can give me another appointment', she told me the only appointment she has is at Onely, and on Friday , but I have no transportation on that day, so I called to cancel and asked if she can give me the appointment at Onely. She told me too bad you just missed it, this is just 1 minutes on the phone with her, with all of our conversations she was still screaming. The second time I went in for my third appointment and I asked if they documents my son’s weight and vitals signs for his second appointment on the app for me to see. This same scheduler told me it’s in the chart just checked it. I repeatedly told her it not there. I believe the receptionist who do the schedule are really not professional and they are Racist, when the see your skin color or hear your accent they talk to you as if you don’t know nothing. I waited 2 months for my appointment I just don’t want my son to miss any of his vaccination, so he can get another chance for another appointment but instead she was very inconsiderate, and rude on the phone. Thank God my son doctor she is a very nice person."

"I left this pediatricians office because my son had a rash and they weren’t doing what we thought they needed to be doing. After arriving at the new pediatrician, they found that my son has a heart defect. Pediatric Associates never found it, they never mentioned it and apparently he was also born with a hole in his heart and they also did not tell us anything about that. We are currently going to go to Gold Pediatric’s and I recommend Gold pediatrics to every parent."

"Bad experience with the office staff. I called them up make an appointment as new patients. They only allow me to drop the information in person, not accept Fax or email. First time I called they told me there are time available for next month. After I drop off all the information in person, they told me the only available time is after 4 months. I asked why takes some long time. She keep told me that’s their protocol by repeating exact the same words."

"The medical doctors are fine, but the office staffs are rude, unprofessional, unknowledgeable. I recently found that a few of claims have been processed without referrals so I contacted them as Pediatric Associates is my kid's PCP. The insurance I use accepts a back date referral so I contacted Pediatric Associates. I spoke with the lady in the office but she was not sure if she could issue a back dated referral. There was back and forth communication among staffs, doctors, and me, but the office manager told that they cannot issue a back dated referral. The lady in the office called me and explained about the office manager's order, and I asked her to let me speak to the office manager, but she was like 'the decision is not going to be changed.' I was irritated by her comment and super rude attitude though, I just simply asked her to request the office manager to give me a call. Of course, no calls have been received from them. After all of these experience, I spoke to the insurance company, and the insurance claim specialist advised me to speak to them again because many physicians issue a back date referral so not sure why Pediatric Associates refuse to issue a back date referral and reacts so strongly. I spoke to the other office of Pediatric Associates and spoke to one lady there asking if Pediatric Associates has a policy of not issuing a back date referral, and (surprisingly) she was like 'No, we issue a back date referral'. I was like 'Whoa! The office in Shady Glove, the office manager, has been refusing to issue a back date referral''. The lady told me to stay on the line and went to her manager or whoever to confirm if Pediatric Associates can issue a back dated referral, and the answer was YES!! (And I received it immediately) I have no idea what was my experience with these unprofessional and unknowledgeable staffs at Shady Glove office. That was super exhausting, irritating, and disappointing experience with them. I wasted all my time and energies. If you consider choosing which PCP for your kids, this office location is not recommended. I think the physicians are fine, so just choose a different location."

"This pediatric associate group sucks, I had a good physician who took care of my kids and he is not working there anymore. since then, starting from the front desk people, they are not professional. I took my son to the clinics after I called after hours clerk who told me to take the next morning to Wheaton office, however, they refused to see my son and I have to take him to other clinic and get treatment. As a parent I don't advise any one to take their kids to Wheaton pediatrics office."
