"XPressMaids initially provided me with an estimate of $750 for a one-time deep clean of my 3300-square-foot home. I found this quote to be on the higher side, but I went ahead with it figuring it would be an all day job. To my surprise, the three cleaners completed the job in just 2 hours and 15 minutes, which translated to a rate of $100 per hour—significantly exceeding the industry standard range of $40 to $60 per hour. I reached out to them via email to express my concerns, but unfortunately, I did not receive a response. Despite their vans advertising affordability, the actual cost of their service turned out to be quite expensive. For my upcoming cleaning needs, I have decided to explore other service providers, as I believe there are more competitively priced options available."
"I used this service for a deep clean. They were on time did a good job. Today, I was supposed to get another cleaning and they didn’t show up. When I texted at 1:30, 2:30 and then called at 3:15 when they were 2 hours late I was chastised for calling and texting them. They never called or texted to say they weren’t coming, apologized for not showing up and were quite unapologetic on the phone. I understand that things happen. That’s fine. What is not okay is when the service doesn’t have the common courtesy to say they will be late or not show up at all. I’m having houseguests this weekend and I was relying on XoressMaids to clean my apt. If you are planning a party or clean up for a major event, I would hesitate to use this company as they didn’t provide a heads up they would be late, didn’t show up, explain why or care to apologize. Things happen. It’s how you handle it and treat your customers that makes the difference. Never again."
