"Dr. Shannon and her staff provided excellent care to my dogs and puppies over the past 3 years. I am unfortunately relocating out of state but I wanted to share my experiences/thoughts. The staff is amazing and always welcoming, understanding, helpful and remain pleasant even on very busy and hectic days. They have the option to communicate via text and provide almost immediate response and assistance. One of my dogs developed a heart issue and Dr. Shannon took the time to work directly with his cardiologist in Virginia and facilitate any bloodwork needs locally. He did succumb from his illness and Dr. Shannon and the staff provided me with amazing support and compassion. Onsite X-ray and blood draws available and very accommodating to emergency visits even during COVID-19."

"I am extremely letdown by this veterinary hospital and took them out of the "care" from this money-grabbing establishment a year ago. I should have written this sooner. I had trusted the care of my 2 cats there for nearly 8 years. One of my cats was having what seemed like asthma attacks about 10 times a day for 2 years. Constantly, I brought up the concern of feline asthma and the desire to have her looked at for that. They continued to push that it was bronchitis or pneumonia and just shoved blood tests, steroids, and other medications at me to give her. It would work for a few months and then she'd be right back at it. It started to seem like a money grab when they showed no interest in what I had to say, how I was concerned that the medication wasn't actually working (because the issue was coming right back), and didn't want to hear about what I had found on feline asthma; that it was identical to the dozens of videos I had to my cat. I took her elsewhere and within 10min, she was diagnosed with feline asthma and put on a treatment plan. I was told that if she had gotten the proper treatment from the start, she wouldn't have so much scarring on her lungs and it wouldn't be as advanced and severe as it is. The vet showed me her X-ray and even not being a vet, I could plainly see it all over her lungs. It was so severe, that because of the neglect of Fairfield, she was nearing the point of euthanasia. If I didn't wiseup and finally go get another opinion, I would have had to put her down within 6 months. It would have become unmanageable and too painful for her to live with. I'm absolutely disgusted and disappointed at the flippant attitudes from the staff at Fairfield regarding my concerns and their neglect to look deeper. Thankfully, the asthma is managed now and I'm getting much better (and more thoughtful) care somewhere else. And at a fraction of the price."

"Truly the most amazing and compassionate vets and staff! Thank you for helping my husband and I with one of the hardest decisions we ever made in our lives. You gave our Nancy the most respectful and caring passing! As we continue to grieve, we will never forget the loving care you provided her."

"My wife and I would like to thank Dr. Gibson and Katelyn for the wonderful care they took with our beloved Marmalade when she had to be put down Friday. They both spent so much time with her, making sure she was comfortable and pain-free for the procedure. My cat could not have been in better hands at the end. We thank you so much."
