"Long time downtown Silver Spring thrift store is open Saturday 9 to 1 and Sunday 12 to 2. Small, curated collection includes jewelry, bags, hats, games, selection of women's clothing, housewares, and framed art. Friendly volunteers and very reasonable prices.Located at Grace House basement at the far end of the (free) Grace Episcopal Church parking lot. Accessible via metro buses Y and Q lines."
"I went today 2/11/20 and they were closed. They are only open on the weekends for a few hours. Call before you go. They have a drop off box outside which I put my stuff in."
"I have worked and shopped here for many many years and Pennyworth has always had best prices on good, usable, and often lovely items. It has moved to 1607 Grace Church Rd., behind Grace Episcopal Church. Not as easy to find but definitely worth the search!!!"

I've bought clothing, books, and glasses from Pennyworth. The staff is amazing -- incredibly friendly and kind without being overbearing. The items are clean and in good condition as well as generally quite cheap."
