"I absolutely love going to Dollar General. Any location I've been to, the people working are genuinely friendly, helpful, courteous, and happy to help. I've worked in retail before and it's easy to tell when someone is being fake nice when you've done it yourself; this really, truly seems sincere. The selection and pricing of items is absolutely worth stopping in too. I always buy my paper products, cleaning items, and select foodstuffs here. It's much less expensive than a grocery store and it's very convenient to go in and out. The parking lot is easy to navigate, too. It's definitely worth a visit!"

"Basic low-price misc stuff that you may or may not really need. Limited assistance with locating items or whether they have your item or not. Okay place if you need to kill time or looking for some Oddball item."

"I usually go to this location very often (I coupon a lot) and I have NEVER had a bad experience. However, I was there a few days ago and it made me not want to go back. I was with my friend shopping for their clearance blowout sale and some items didn’t have prices on them. I took them in my cart full of items and when I reached the counter- there was a new girl that I have never seen (she was very sweet) and then there was another lady working with her (I may have seen her one other time). Now since I am a frequent shopper, I know that it is better to have them price check the items then for them to void it. I have been to many dollar generals and they all tell me the same. So since I had unmarked items in my cart I simply asked for price checks and if it was too pricey, I asked for them to be put back. The lady that was looking over the new girl said to me “this is ridiculous, now we have to put them back”. So my friend and I both said that we had no problem putting them back. She said “you’re not gonna do that”. I didn’t want an argument so I just let it go. And then as we are going on with my cart FULL of items she was like “you are taking two cashiers times”. Again I did not want to start a problem so I let it go. We left but she really got on my nerves for no reason. I have never in my life had a bad experience with an employee anywhere before. She could have had a bad day but she could have been nicer. She didn’t have to stay by the near girl because she clearly knew how to use the register. I don’t know."
