"The whole process, from start to finish was great! It's obvious they work with a lot of contractors as you can tell by the empty trucks coming to pick up supplies leaving full. But I wasn't sure how the process would be for a retail purchase by a homeowner. I always bought bags and bags of soil and mulch from the local home improvement stores. But that in and of itself can be back breaking just loading 20+ bags, unloading then at home, then cutting them open to spread! This time I thought I would order soil and mulch for delivery. The two in the office could not have been any more helpful. They were great resources for explaining about "cubic yard" volumes and how to calculate my needs. They have a 3 cubic yard minimum for delivery, but they can split that minimum into 3 different items in one delivery! I only needed 2 cy of screened top soil and 1 cy of black mulch. Delivery was scheduled for the NEXT day (though it is October, so I presume the spring would have a longer delay). I had no idea what size footprint the delivered soil/mulch would need, but the guy that I ordered frim gave me great advice about the size tarp I might want to lay down to receive the delivery... and his advice was perfect! 15' x 20' worked great! The guy that made the delivery was great, too! They called me about 20 minutes before delivery, backed-into my driveway with shear precision, and dumped one load (mulch), pulled forward a bit, then dumped the second (screened top soil). I was very, very happy with the whole process. Not only would I recommend Lenhoff's, but I'll be buying from them again!"
