"They take advantage of their employees and delete any reviews that they deem unsatisfactory. They will also underpay their staff severely— and make it a policy to not let them compare salaries to keep it quiet. They will discriminate and mistreat young employees, and other workers here will too. The kids are wonderful, but that’s all thanks to their parents. I would never send my own children here. Lead teachers are in charge of cleaning and taking care of their own classrooms, and most of them will slack off. Most of the five star reviews are incentivized."

"My 2 yr old daughter has been at Bethesda Goddard for 8 months now, and we couldn't be happier. The teachers welcome her every morning with smiles and engaging activities- they are all incredible! They balance the studies and play perfectly, and I feel she has grown tremendously over the time she has been at Goddard. From music to language lessons during the school year, and so many fun activities over the summer (petting zoo, magician, etc), she is always expanding her world because of the care and planning from the teachers as well as the school staff! We are so grateful to be a part of the Goddard community!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS AWESOME SCHOOL!"

"The Goddard staff is amazing - they're friendly, attentive, and clearly love working with children. I feel completely confident leaving my child in their care. The classrooms are clean, bright, and well-stocked with age-appropriate toys and activities. My child always comes home happy and tired from a full day of play and learning. The staff provides regular updates throughout the day, and they're always responsive to my questions and concerns. My child has learned so much during their time there.. And they make it all fun for the kids, which is a huge plus! In addition, I appreciate the healthy food options provided by school for my child during the day. The facility ensures that my child receives well-balanced and nutritious meals. Furthermore, the daycare provides me with a photo of my child's meal after lunch, which offers transparency and insight into my child's dietary intake. Finally, safety is a top priority at Goddard Daycare. There are secure entrances and exits, and the staff is always vigilant about keeping a close eye on the children. I never have to worry about my child's safety when she is at daycare."

"It is with the sincerest enthusiasm that my wife and I recommend The Goddard School of Bethesda. We began our Goddard journey when my wife was still pregnant with our oldest son, now 6. We were on the waitlist for many area preschools and feeling like we didn’t love any of them when we went to tour Goddard; we immediately knew this was the place we wanted him to be! Since June of 2016 when he started in the infants Caterpillars class, we have been part of the Goddard School; middle and youngest sons are current students. We have experienced all but three classrooms in the whole school! Goddard is an exceptional preschool in three key areas: facilities, faculty and staff, and curriculum. First, the classrooms are happy, colorful, safe and creative spaces. Each classroom includes areas for learning: pretend play, blocks, reading, etc. The rooms are kept tidy and clean and also include an en suite potty and/or areas for diaper changing in addition to fridges for bottles and/or lunches. Our sons always (and youngest continues) to nap at school- a testament to schedule, the calm environment created, and the cribs/cots provided. The areas are conducive and complimentary to the ages of the children and the curriculum. In addition, the outside space includes two age-appropriate play areas and green space. The faculty and staff at Goddard are the absolute best; each is experienced and trained in early education, caring, thoughtful and exceptionally creative in their planning and curriculum implementation. Our sons have formed bonds with nearly all of their teachers, and even ask to ‘visit’ their old classrooms to say “hi” to their old teachers. We have found the administration of the school, Mr. Mike and Ms. Nicole, to be responsive and always thinking of our children throughout our years at Goddard. Ms. Nicole goes out of her way to be there for parents, answering all questions and always listening. Lastly, the curriculum of the classrooms builds strong foundations in academics but also in social-emotional skills. It is research based but implemented with creativity and fun in mind."

"We absolutely have enjoyed our 4 year experience with Goddard Bethesda. We enrolled our son full-time since he was 3 months old and are truly grateful for the structure and reliability that you get with Goddard Bethesda. Their response to COVID was extremely communicative and supportive during the unprecedented time and we were very appreciative that our son was able to return to an in-person learning environment in a safe manner. As working parents, the curriculum, social skills and nurturing environment are highly valued. Our son has loved every teacher and classroom he was in..and always had fun learning! We firmly believe that our son (who is on the younger side due to a summer birthday) has been positioned well for class transitions and progressing to next grade level because of his educational foundation from Goddard...writing his name, understanding patterns, doing addition/subtraction and learning Spanish & Mandarin all before he was 4!"
