American Eagle Store

"Lots of young, inexperienced associates who are very rude and busy not doing their jobs, or "over-doing" their jobs by accusing customers of stealing. I had difficulty getting an associate off their phones, talking amongst themselves and shopping for themselves to help with an even exchange. The associate did not know how to complete this transaction and accused me of trying to exchange a cheaper pair of jeans for a more expensive pair. I had to ask the manager to intervene and to cut the attitude. Took the new jeans home only to find out they had a security tag still on them. Returned to the store. I was immediately accosted at the door by an associate demanding to see a receipt. And then she said I had to go to the counter to stand in line to have them check & tag removed. A very sweet associate also implied the jeans were stolen before she checked every single number on my receipt to make sure that I had in fact purchased these jeans and did not steal them. There was no apology for my inconvenience. Terrible customer service, obnoxious store for over priced clothes."

"Bought jeans for my son after 2 months they completely came apart at the seam. Read the review online after this happened, apparently this was the same complaint for tons of customers. For the price of the jeans, the quality should be better. Staff was helpful for the return. I have also shown up twice during regular plaza hours to find out they were closed. Wish they opened at 10am or closed at 8 to be more accommodating."

"I originally purchased a pair of jeans here to be delivered to my house because they didn't carry my size in store. Turns out the employee accidentally forgot to push the delivery thru (or however it works, moral of the story I paid for jeans that I never received). Took my receipt back in and the person that helped me was super sweet, patient, and helpful. By this time the pair I wanted was sold out online but both she and the manager went above and beyond to make sure I got a pair I liked for the same sale price that I originally paid. An unfortunate situation turned into a great one thanks to the caring people at this location. Very happy!!"

"I went in on Sunday and discovered the store now carries ALL SIZES in store that they offer online!! I want to applaud American eagle for doing this. I also was extremely happy with customer service. It was very busy that day but the employees went out of their way to look for stock that I was interested in, in the back, and frequently checked in with me to see if I needed additional help. I believe Jeff was the main person who helped me. He deserves a raise! I will definitely be a more frequent shopper at AE than I was before."

"Today was by far one of the BEST customer service experiences I've had in years. The new store manager, Kyle, is AMAZING! I cannot say enough positive things about my experience. I went in dreading the idea of shopping for jeans and Kyle made it completely painless. He spent close to an hour with me while I tried on an endless variety of jeans all the while offering honest criticism, which is exactly what I was looking for. Ladies, I'm telling you if you're in the search for jeans, go see Kyle. He is personable, honest and EXTREMELY knowledgeable."
