"The Julia Brown School in Laurel is amazing. My child started at about 2 years old (about 3 years ago). The teachers were true partners during potty training. They made him feel comfortable and have helped him flourish. Emerson loves the curriculum and is thriving in math, reading and geography. He loves the freedom of picking activities but also gets excited when his directresses give him new challenges. He has learned so much some and it has shown him independence and has helped in teaching respect, reasonability's and self confidence."

We are sad to be leaving because she is graduating, but JBS will always be our home. She made some lasting friendships too!! "Julia Brown has been such a blessing for our daughter and family. We enrolled her at 16 months old and could not be happier with her growth under the care and supervision of JBS. As a first time parent I have many questions and am always met with staff’s patience and focus. In 8 months our toddler is on her way to independent toileting, knows her ABCs and counts to 10 and has learned important social skills such as taking turns and being kind to others. We especially value the focus on practical life skills. We have also been impressed with the school’s overall communication and management during the pandemic. "Ideal learning environment for preschool aged children. Our daughter has been attending since she was 20 months old and just turned 4. She is excited to go to school every day, and has loved all of her teachers. Our daughter is naturally curious and loves to figure out things on her own - this program is perfect for her. The school promotes independence, courteous behavior, and practical life skills. Exceptionally happy with COVID protocols, and flexibility to blend virtual and in person options as needed. Well organized, friendly administration with excellent communications. Our daughter is thriving in this Montessori program - highly recommend."

"My daughter is currently enrolled at the Julia Brown Schools in Laurel. I have to say how impressed I am in the quality of education she is getting at such a young age. Before the Julia Brown Schools, my daughter stayed full time with her grandmother. She had never interacted with other adults or children. She was extremely shy and as a mother I was terrified of how she would be respond to the environment. Today she is thriving! She has developed so many relationships and her teachers are so caring and nurturing. The administration is always helpful and attentive. I was so surprised at how quickly she acclimated to he environment. She wakes up daily, thrilled to go to school. When you visit the school, it is amazing to see how well behaved the children are.
