Woodville House

"Several years ago we “downsized” to a patio home. Our biggest concern was the kitchen, which was original to its 1992 construction. Coming from a large, airy kitchen with lots of storage and utility, we faced what was basically and apartment kitchen, tucked in a corner. We started reviewing contractors specializing in kitchen/bath renovations. In due course we visited Woodville House. We met with Laura Riggin and described our situation and desires. We noted numerous Woodville House projects that were far grander than what we had in mind but, that didn’t bother Laura. She came to our home, saw our kitchen, listened to desires and said she would be in touch with some ideas. When we next met, she showed us her ideas in a CAD presentation, allowing us to view our “new” kitchen in several dimensions. We signed up and, from then until the project was complete, we always had the feeling that our little kitchen was just as important than much larger projects. If we had a question or need Laura, she was responsive. The construction team that did the work treated it as if it were their kitchen. What we have now is a kitchen that is not only far more attractive, it contains at least twice the storage and counter top work space. We are pleased that we gave our project to Woodville House."

"I have used the services provided at the big box stores in the past. We scheduled an appointment and met with them and it felt exactly how the big box store operates, you are a number and their job is to get through the numbers as quick as possible. We went through the process and got a quote. I wasn't comfortable with the level of knowledge of the associate we were working with so I decide to reach out to a few custom kitchen places. Woodville House was the first to respond. We made an appointment and we were so glad we did! There are a lot of things you don't think about when designing a kitchen and Laura at Woodville walked us through the entire process, gave us suggestions based on our tastes and designed an awesome, functional kitchen for us. She was extremely knowledgeable, punctual on all appointments both at their store location in Bridgeville as well as coming to our home. Through the entire process she was prompt with responses to questions and even responded to a question while she was on vacation (I had no expectation of this). The experience was great, the professionalism and responsiveness better than I've experienced with past kitchen designs. As for the cost, completely comparable to the big box stores while getting more of a feeling of that 1:1 experience, thus in my opinion a far greater value. Laura was excellent and while I'm not looking to do another kitchen anytime soon ;-) I will be recommending her and Woodville House to my friends and family. Thank you so much Laura!"

"If you schedule an appointment with a client, it doesn't mean that you can make it because things happen everybody would understand. However, if you don't call ahead of time to confirm the appointment that you promised to do, and don't call to cancel or to reschedule the appointment, even worse, when you are way late for the appointment, and you make a lousy lie to excuse yourself, I call that unprofessional."
