"Could not wait to get home to do this review Not sure what was wrong with the lady that was in charge of the fitting room she was very rude to myself and other customers her tone and then she would just wanna keep carrying on .Ugh .I have came to Jc penny for years I live more than another store she ruined my shopping day. I understand u can only take 8 items but the delivery for horrible"

"WORST EXPERIENCE with this store! appalling customer service! They flat-out denied my return, all because the tag was not on the item of clothing. I had the tags with me and receipt! Their lack of flexibility and customer empathy is outrageous. I feel utterly disappointed and undervalued as a loyal customer. Potential buyers, beware – this store clearly doesn't value its customers one bit! Save yourself the headache and shop elsewhere!"

"One of the managers, a blond woman, (refused to give me her name - because I was going to report her to corporate) is an atrocious mess that handles the job by getting nasty with the customer, insulting and mocking them, and uses strong arm tactics if you say you do not like the way you are treated in a situation. She does not respect the customers, how much they spend in J.C. Penny's, or even if they have a long buying history with the company. It is not her company so she doesn't care. It's also not her living room in her house. Not only is she disrespectful to customers, but she does not know how to handle situations properly, directs her team extremely poorly, and has to be costing the company money. This company needs to make some changes starting with her. I suggest either not shopping there or have your phone camera and recording app ready. If you have any problem (And know others have and will) record it and send it with your complaint to corporate. That will help them to know who they need to eliminate."

"Few checkouts open. Weird that they call customers guests. I believe i was served by a manager - when the I corrected her that the item I was purchasing was on sale for 30%, I hardly got an acknowledgement let alone an apology when she confirmed it over a walkie talkie. Younger staff were very polite but other than that the store was very poor all round"

"The mangers here are a mess, A year ago I found a bag that had a lot of money now as an employee I gave it to someone but if it was up to a customer they could have stole it. They are always late with processing orders and they don’t wash the dirty stuff animals they just simply put it back. They hate it when you finish early and they are thankful for good workers as myself. I would often try to organize the toy sections and lingerie. The manger Tara underestimate all employees.
