"Man laughed when I tried to schedule a new first grooming appointment for my longhair cat. Kept saying if it’s a long hair it may need more work, which he does not. My cat regularly gets brushed and slightly groomed, no knots or matting, which he made difficult to get across. Didn’t seem to want to schedule to begin with as he kept trying to mention hiccups in grooming a longhair. I currently moved in the area and was looking for a new grooming home. Happy to look elsewhere. To your response, I have spoken to this man before. Completely different tone, and I only didn’t book the first time around because a scheduling conflict. Did not give me trouble that time around, but when I tried to speak and explain my situation, he wouldn’t let me get a word in. No attitude from my side until he chuckled at me attempting to schedule an appointment which is rude to begin with. From the jump it felt as if he was telling me cons of having a longhair, trying to get his point across without context. It didn’t even seem like he wanted to book the appointment, just stating why it’s more difficult for a long hair. Kept asking why I didn’t go back to PetSmart as I had been there in the past, but I just recently moved closer to this area and was looking for a private more homey groomer… Upset about the outcome. Overall, had he started off with, “send us a picture, and the experience this cat has had with baths/ grooming, then we will determine pricing and compatibility based on that,” then it would be different. It’s about the delivery of it all, and clearly after the 42 years, and here thereafter it still needs touch ups. Good luck, & see this as constructive criticism for the next person who tries to book a long haired grooming appointment with you all. Maybe next time don’t laugh and say “what makes you think WE can?” After I answered that my cat is a longhair and that he was going to PetSmart before moving into this area. Ridiculous."

"My precious 12 yr old Reggie had a neurological event last summer which left him with anxiety and some physical challenges. His last groomer refused to continue working with him even though I bent over backwards for him. His comfort and hygiene are so important to me. We went to Patricia this week. Patricia and her husband loved Reggie through the process until he was able to relax. He came away quickly clean, well-cut, and with nicely trimmed nails. I am so grateful to find someone who truly cares and knows how to work with older dogs. Reggie slept all day, loved and comfortable."

"I wish I could fully express how incredible this service is!! we got our kitty from a chaotic household, and the poor thing had matted fur, chunks missing in her coat, overgrown nails, smelled like cigarettes, and had feces stuck to her bottom. we called around desperately trying to find a groomer willing to work her in, and Patricia picked up the call. she was kind and courteous on the phone, and willing to work us in on the same day. she and her husband run the business, and they're very knowledgeable about what they do. they were so good with our cat, and she wasn't afraid at all, and was even purring on the car ride home! it's a quaint little salon, and I really felt like they gave her all of their care and attention when she was there (and we saw some gorgeous doggo's leaving just before us, who looked immaculately groomed)! when we picked her up, less than an hour later, her front and back nails were trimmed, her fur was given a beautiful haircut, all the knots and matting were removed, she smelled beautiful (like a great load of fresh, cotton laundry), the fur between her paw pads was trimmed, her bottom was cleaned and trimmed, and she was friendly and happy! they even gave us grooming tips before we left on how to care for her coat as it grows back in (she's a Siberian). we were hesitant about the lion's cut at first since her long fur is a part of her "look," but it was really the only option because of how neglected she had been until we got her. and guess what-- we LOVE her haircut!! we think she looks so cute, and she's so nice to cuddle up with. we will definitely be regulars here. be ready to pay in cash; there's a little mall, bunches of fast food and ATM's nearby to get a snack and grab a tip, and I cannot recommend this business highly enough. thank y'all so much!!!"

"We have a very high strung cat that many vets have problems dealing with. She becomes frantic and is very hard to handle, even by professionals. So when I brought her to Patricia Dee with many mats in her long hair, I was somewhat doubtful that she could be shaved without an anesthetic. In the past anesthetic was necessary. Within a short time, our beloved hysterical cat was mat free, and looking beautiful with the short coat she left on her. No fright at all on our cat's part. In fact, she has been acting quite joyful showing no signs of stress. I could hardly believe it. Patricia Dee is truly gifted with animals. I will never go anywhere else."
