"I didn't even go there to get my hair done I went and asked for help with my hair to see what they could do and the lady just straight up scolded me. So my hair needed to just be cut badly and needed some treatment which I could do at home She said that everything I use was wrong like 90% of the shampoo and conditioners are wrong my routine of using queen Helene is wrong even tho I have been using everything for years now my hair is fine it just actually needed to be cut she assumed my hair was chemically damaged which it wasn't she was so hellbent on assuming it was chemically damaged so I was like yeah sure I couldn't argue with her despite that I know but she just wanted to be racist and state that Hispanic salons love to add chemicals to people's hair which is not true it was that they left me in hooded dryer for a good hour on 400 degrees Even told me straight up that suave shampoo could work on me like lol no what?! More so it was because a previous salon that kinda fried my hair in a hooded dryer on 400 degrees they didn't put any protection cept curlers so I know my hair was dried out and everything because it was the heat that brought it lifeless then started going on about how hooded dryers can't damage hair which yes they can if left for a long time which happened then started saying that these Hispanics love to add chemicals in people's hair which no I didn't get a chemical in my hair but As I was about to go through the appointment she starts talking to some old dude and having a conversation no longer helping me so I got fed up and left Anyway I went to Beauty Bar and salon instead they were very kind of supportive of what I was using gave me tips for my curly hair and cut all the ends and trimmed it to make it less frizzy Please for people with damaged hair go to beauty bar don't go to a mall salon especially if you're a half black woman like me she made me so embarrassed to even be mixed with how she spoke to me I felt so offended and uncomfortable"

"I had the best experience ever in Regis today. I had stepped in for a haircut, the hairdresser Amanda was very talented enough to provide a fantastic haircut that I am feeling so good to flaunt around. She is a wonderful person to talk too. I really admire the way she took so much time in cutting and styling my hair. The best hairstylist I have ever met. Thank you Amanda!!! And I am going to make sure I visit regularly."

"Not happy with my experience at this place. First time customer. I had Chuck cut my hair. I am a white male with long hair. I sat down with Chuck (Seemed like a nice guy), and began telling him how I wanted my hair cut. Short on the sides, a little length on the top that I push back with my hand after a shower. Usually, I get a line cut on the one side to separate the short hair from the long hair. I also have issues with my bangs, where if they are not layered correctly, it looks stupid and feels uncomfortable. I made Chuck aware of these things, and his response was "Don't worry, I've been doing hair for 31 years". He takes some clippers and begins to dig them into the side of my head. My first thought was, this guy hasn't been doing hair for 31 years. After he cut the sides, he washed my hair. I went and sat back down as he started to trim the top. Within 5 minutes, He pulls the cape off my me and has my glasses in his hand. He then says "Alright you're done" and hands me my glasses. This was shocking to me. He didn't ask me to look at the haircut first or anything! He took maybe a half inch off the top. I asked him to please take off more. At this point, I feel like I've been duped. This guy doesn't know how to style hair, nor does he really care what the customer thinks of his work. I'm awkward in these situations, so I pay (and even leave a $5 tip. Why? I have no idea). I was told the haircut would be $32 over the phone when I made my appointment, but the final price before tip was $34. Not a huge difference, but it's still false information. I walked out, not happy and feeling stupid. After getting an iced tea from Starbucks, I see Chuck walking up toward the food court. I took this opportunity to voice my opinion to the manager. She kindly asked if I'd like to stick around and she would personally take care of me after her current customer. Like I said before, I do not know how to not feel awkward in a situation like this. I kindly said no thanks and expressed this to her. I plan on just shaving all my hair off and getting a shape up. Not only did he disregard everything I told him about the haircut I would like, he "finished" the job without even getting approval from the customer. The extra star is for the manager that was kind enough to offer a solution. I will not be returning to this salon in the future, and I suggest, if you are a man with long hair, you do the same."
