"The staff is great and very friendly with my dog. I loved going to Hanover Veterinary Hospital until last month. I had an appointment to take my Border Collie to get its hair trimmed and the estimate that they gave me was for around $165 ($75 for the hair trim and $90 for possible anesthetic in case the dog was uncooperative. While I agreed to possibly pay that amount, I did not agree to pay $45 extra for a hospitalized day stay just because I arrived to pick up my dog 30 minutes after they were done. When I initially got there, I asked if it was ok if I came back to pick her up and assistant said that there was no problem. No one ever informed me about having to pay $45 more if I didn't arrive in a certain amount of time. There was also nothing indicating that on any form that I was asked to sign. This is very unprofessional and I believe there should be a form or somewhere stating that there is a fee if you don't pick up your dog right away."
"I was very surprised at how affordable they are, and still provide excellent care. This is now our full time Vet for our little dog. They treated him well and with care. Most places want Chihuahuas restrained from the beginning, but they gave our Rocky, free run of the room we were in, and gave him great care. I highly recommend Hanover Veterinary Hospital."
"I took my kitty Blu this morning and the staff were wonderful. The Dr. was friendly and explained what was happening and the treatment steps. The nurse/vet tech was great ! My cat even let them rub her belly which is something she doesn’t do for people she doesn’t know. Will definitely be back in the future God forbid."
"My pup had a random growth on her skin that had gotten bigger and after calling around, HVH was able to get her in the soonest. They do take a deposit which is applied towards the visit cost. Considering how far out vets are booking plus the increase of no-shows, I can understand this and truly appreciate it as it was likely the reason they had sooner availability. Service was also reasonably priced. I'd honestly expected to pay probably double what I'd been charged... My pup was taken very good care of. Dr. Anna was very thorough in her evaluation and explained to me in great detail. She knows her stuff. I've only been in Hanover for a few months, but once their annual appointment time comes around, I'll be transferring my cats' care to HVH."
